Our favorite local Chinese restaurant. Had dinner here last night for an early Lunar New Year's dinner. We couldn't decide what we wanted (too many delicious choices). We finally chose pot stickers to start and then orange chicken, broccoli beef with vegetables, and chow fun with chicken. All wonderful as always. We had enough left over for two more meals. Sam our waiter was awesome as usual.

Ordered takeout this evening. The chow-main was dry without much flavor, the fried rice was very salty, moo-shi was bland....thankfully we also ordered chicken with broccoli which was pretty good. We ended up throwing most of the food away and will not be going back to Szechuan Garden. A waste of $50....

Pedestrian Chinese Food... unimpressed with ability to make even the basic favorites. Prices are comparable to area restaurants but with inflation hitting everyone, including the cost for take out, I expect to at least feel like I received a quality meal for what I had to pay for it.

The food is delicious and flavorful. It is enjoyable to eat here. We had the Chinese snow peas with beef. We were pleasantly surprised that water chestnuts were served in this dish. And the beef was very tender. I highly recommend this entree. The second dish was the Singapore noodles (it's in the chow fun section of the menu). Singapore noodles are thin rice noodles with a very mild curry spice. Although it comes with shrimp, we are allergic to shrimp. We substituted chicken. Excellent amount of curry spice. In addition we also asked for less salt on the food. There was less salt on the Singapore noodles. We asked for "white sauce" on the snow pea and beef dish. The "Chinese white sauce" - broth with a little cornstarch plus a touch of other ingredients - is not salty.

Just stopped in, on my first visit here. I came in for the lunch special and enjoyed the delicious spicy Szechwan beef, which came with pork fried rice, chow mein and a tasty cup of hot and sour soup. I highly recommend!

I always order from Szechuan Garden for the most amazing curry chicken in the Sacramento area!! They use delicious chicken breast and fresh vegetables, the portions are large but their food is so good you can't help but clean your entire plate. Treat yourself to the best food and service around!

Nothing about my dinner was satisfying. I ordered the pot stickers and chicken chow mein, simple dishes to gauge the quality here as it was my first time. The pot stickers were almost unedible, zero flavor and almost looked like uncooked meat in the center. The filling had zero ingredients besides plain pork. Also the dipping sauce was very strange tasting. The chicken chow meain had zero flavor whatsoever, it was greasy, very light on chicken besides some random scraps, and a few random pieces of vegetable. The serving portions are large, but the quality and flavor were not.
