Synergy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

We love this place. Our 8 year old daughter trains here, and always looks forward to coming. She has learned so much since we started 18 months ago. The teachers are strict and are quick to correct kids when they are out of line, but they do it all with kindness, fairness, and mutual respect, something I feel is really important with any martial arts. You can tell all the kids enjoy their instruction and have a great time, while also learning how to look out for each other and respect others. We recommend this gym to anyone we know looking to have their kids involved in jiu-jitsu.

Synergy is a great place to learn/practice Jiu Jitsu. The relationships I have formed is like having a second family. They offer classes for kids as well as adults. Come check it out and watch your life change for the better.

Kids classes are the BEST here. They have several instructors present at all times to ensure everyone is receiving help. The academy is always kept extremely clean and there's water on hand for anyone who forgot theirs at home. Jeff is enthusiastic about his craft and loves to share it with anyone who comes thru the door. He has a patience with children that is unmatched! Just want to also add he's built an awesome BJJ family there with some of the kindest individuals in the Rocklin area. 10 out of 10 highly recommend no matter your age there is a class for you or your kids. I'm in Antelope and always try to send more people from my area to them they are worth the small commute.

My family and I can't say enough about the Synergy coaches and the overall atmosphere. My son had such a good experience there that my wife and I joined as well and now we all go. Couldn't ask for a better bjj academy.

Amazing place, the kids and parents are very welcoming, its become like a small community. Great outlet for my kids to practice discipline, structure, routine and exercise, while actually learning useful life skills in self protection.

This review is long overdue. We were looking for a place for my daughter to take a self defense class. We visited 3 gyms last summer and decided to sign up at Synergy. It has been a year, and we absolutely love this gym. My daughter loves going to class. Her confidence, coordination, and body awareness have improved. The coaches are encouraging and dedicated, but firm with the kids, so no monkey business here. The families there are very friendly, and we made many good friends. If you looking for a place for your kids or you to learn some self defense skills, to get active, or just to gain some self esteem, this is it! Two week trial classes for free, you have nothing to lose.

Today was the first class my boys attended and they/we loved it! My boys are 6 & 8 so we've been trying to find a dojo that works well with kids. I hope this is the beginning to a long future in Jiu-Jitsu @Synergy! Thanks for all your help Jeff!!

A great place to train!

I am pretty new to the area and found this gym on yelp. They had good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. They have a groupon where you can take 10 or 20 classes for a very discounted price. Overall, it's a great gym with very knowledgeable instructors and great people to train with. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming. This is my first time training BJJ and I'm glad I found this place. Give Jeff a phone call and he'll fill you in on everything you need to know to get started. What are you waiting for?! Go now!

This place has been wonderful for our extremely shy 5 year old. He was very nervous when he started but the coaches here are EXCELLENT with kids. They are a great mix of patience, discipline and fun. Now six months later our boy absolutely loves jiu jitsu class, his coaches, and has learned so much!
