Sweetologie Cake Design

Aileen is such a sweetheart. I called about having a 21st birthday cake specialized 4 days prior to the event. During my call she asked me dozens of questions about how exactly I wanted the cake. I loved that since you can tell she truly cares about what she is able to deliver! I sent over a picture and she LITERALLY nailed it! I can not thank her enough for making my friend's birthday so special & perfect. Thank you Aileen!! :)

I thought our cake idea would be way too much for anyone to do but Aileen did absolutely phenomenal! We wanted to replicate a multi-tiered cake our parents had at their wedding, and I can't believe how amazing it looked AND tasted. Everyone ate the cake, we only had one tier left and that's because we requested that it would be saved. Absolutely gorgeous cake, thank you Aileen!

Aileen is extremely talented, professional, and so sweet! I hired her to make cupcakes for our company's anniversary party, and holy cow she delivered. Such gorgeous cupcakes and honestly the BEST tasting cupcake I've ever had. HIRE HER! You will not be disappointed!

Aileen did our wedding cake October 2016. She's so nice and we had a wonderful time at our tasting. She pays attention to detail and worked with us to give us the cake we wanted that also fit our budget. Also, her cake was amazing!! We chose different flavors for each layer and it was fun adding variety.

The cake is such a focal point of every wedding that we insisted on a tall cake that would stand out. We had over 200 guest and a small cake would have been easily lost in the masses. Well, Sweetologie delivered! A coworker referred me to Sweetologie and I am so glad that they did!Aileen and Sweetologie made us an amazingly beautiful five tier cake that was jaw dropping! We got so many compliments about our cake, in fact several of our guests said that it's the type of cake you would only expect to see on TV. I agree... just take a look at the photo of our cake I borrowed from Sweetologie's Instagram. Up close the details on it are even more incredible.I've heard from others that "show cakes" lack flavor... don't believe it, that's absolutely not the case if you go with one of Aileen's creations. You see, I'm the guy that ALWAYS passes on cakes at weddings, I find them too dry, and flavor wise either too sweet or just too boring; not the case with Sweetologie, frankly this was the best cake I have ever had and that's not just my opinion, we heard this from several of our friends... the cake was nice and moist, smooth on the palate, rich in flavor - How can it not be?, just take a look at our flavor selection:Tier 1 & 2 (top tiers): Champagne Chiffon Cake with Strawberry Buttercream FillingTier 3: Mocha Chiffon Cake with Coffee Buttercream FillingTier 4: Chai Cake with Cheesecake Mousse FillingTier 5: Almond Cake with Mango Curd FillingSound good? Well it was amazing! The ordering and tasting process was very easy, and delivery/set-up was as smooth as our cake. In my opinion, if you're on the market for a wedding cake don't make a selection until you've met Aileen for a tasting. I will definitely recommend Aileen and Sweetologie to my friends, and I hope to enjoy more of her creations on future celebrations.

This isn't based on the cake made for me, unfortunately Aileen never made it that far. I contacted her via her website and didn't hear back for a week or so then I called left a voicemail on her main line and received a call back the next day. We went over flavors and design I wanted for my event as well as cake pops and other treats. We confirmed date, however she stated she would get back to me in pricing and a sketch after I sent my designs via email. I did just that and didn't hear back from her for a week, I called several days back to back after that to inquire on the order and follow up if she could still commit to the event day and time but had no luck in reaching her. As good as her flavors and creations looked it was a sad disappointment to not have her fulfill my requests. It's just the communication that lacked tremendously. Whether something came up or if there was a bigger order that came, I would have like to be contacted. I looked at her Instagram and I seen the same issues in comments as to her not getting back to clients. I'm happy the people who were able to leave there reviews loved her work, unfortunately she didn't leave her professionalism with me

Aileen definitely exceeded my expectations! She made my daughters 4th birthday Doc McStuffins cake last year and this year for her 5th birthday, I asked for a pink,white and gold cake with butterflies and roses and Aileen did an amazing job! Reasonable prices for beautiful and yummy cakes! Thanks Aileen!

VERY talented indeed, but never answers emails, DM's, comments. F for Communication. If you can't take orders, SAY SO. A response is better than none. Please work on your customer service if you want to earn peoples business. Have the decency to let people know you are not available than leave them hanging.

I do not normally leave reviews. But this particular review was definitely needed. If I could give someone negative stars, I would. I was planning my cousins bridal shower which was going to be held on August 2nd. Two weeks before the event the cake lady I had originally chosen had canceled on me. Immediately I started doing some more research and I came across "Sweetologie" after viewing their work on Instagram, I was thoroughly pleased with the craftsmanship on their cakes. So I decided to reach out to see if the owner had any spots open to make my cousins bridal shower cake that was 13 days away. On July 20th at 9:24 pm, I decided to text the owner, a minute after sending my initial text, I received a response back saying she does indeed have availability to make the cake for my cousins bridal shower. After exchanging a few more texts , I had asked if I can have the night to finalize the cake design I am looking for and reach out to her the next morning to confirm the design 100%. In the process of exchanging these texts I had even asked Aileen if I could put a deposit down to secure my date. She disregarded that comment completely and proceeded to tell me her products are imported. The following day July 21st at 11:47 am, I texted Aileen back and asked if I can give her a phone call so we can discuss the cake. During this phone conversation I did not get the feeling this lady was going to make my life more stressful. I had sent Aileen a bunch of inspirations for the type of cake I was looking for. I only had one requirement, unique. I wanted the cake to be unique. While talking and asking for details from me, Aileen still had not mentioned any aspects of money. So I figured she will just give me the total tab at the end. Boy was I wrong. July 21st at 12:37 was the last time Aileen had responded back to me. I figured she was busy so I did not bother her. I reached out again on July 25th, asking if I can confirm the order with her. Still no response. I called her on Monday July 27th and left a voicemail. Still no response. I even went as far as texting "hello?" On July 28th. Still no response. That evening was when I decided that this lady is an absolute fraud. How are you going to call yourself an "experienced baker" but do not have the decency to respond back to a client who already had one cake lady cancel on her. I was nothing but polite and kind to Aileen and I was giving her full creative control on this cake. I waited and waited and gave Aileen plenty of chances and the benefit of doubt. It wasn't until 5 days before my cousins event that I had to scramble to find ANOTHER baker to make the cake that I expected this company to make. You're telling me that in the SEVEN days you couldn't take out five minutes to update me on whatever is happening? Having an event in the middle of a pandemic is already stressful enough. But having a baker who just decides to stop responding, is the icing on the cake. I did not deserve the unnecessary stress and tears this lady has caused me. You do not deserve to be apart of people's special day, when your customer service shows such incompetence. Do not work in an industry where clients depend on your work to make their event spectacular, if you have no desire of being professional and keeping your word.

I really love these cakes .. every thing was so perfect and they taste so so good .. I requested a doll cake with dress same my daughter s dress .. and I got exactly what I want ., the service is so good .. my message and phone calls got answered quickly .. everything was super good .. it s my favorite place now for ordering birthdays cake
