Sweet Pairings

Sadly changed owners for some reason so Sweet Pairings is no more. I thought I found the perfect bakery. Sad because I wanted a cake for my anniversary and now who can I trust lol.

I love this bakery. The owner is amazing! Not only does she have her normal goodies She also will customize whatever you need to make your day special and make it taste as awesome as it looks. We stopped by on our way up to Tahoe and got a bag full of goodies for our trip. If you live in the area or just passing though you need to stop In and get some delicious goodies. She also make the most beautiful wedding cakes!

The scones are amazing!! Everything we have had has been delicious, it definitely worth stopping bye for a treat or bread sticks

I just found this place. Good coffee, lots of great looking baked goodies and friendly people! I'll be back!

This place is my favorite bakery in Placerville! The owner is the best and knows how to bake goodies. I just had a Frittata that was the outstanding. Her custom pies are the real deal too. Go check it out, it's hard to find but worth the effort! Trust me Robert H

My wife wanted to surprise me with a custom cake for my 50th birthday. My wife and Tiffany collaborated over email to come up with this amazing design! I was so blown away by the details they put into this cake! Each side was a different flavor (the chocolate was fantastic!) The "Powerslave" font matched exactly as well as the Iron Maiden logo. Thank you Tiffany and team for making this amazing and memorable cake!

Our wedding cake from Sweet Pairings was probably by far our best experience in planning our wedding. Our cake tasting with Tiffany was fun and personal. She made a generous variety of samples for us to try and provided expert advice based on our guest count and plans. Not only are her cakes incredible (she frosts with Italian buttercream, which is both airy and rich without being overly sweet), but her pricing was also more than reasonable. We really lucked out. She made us a two-tier cake and 125 cupcakes (let us choose 4 flavors without charging extra) and came to our wedding site and set everything up using some of our wedding flowers. Gorgeous, as pictures prove. Hint: her earl grey lavender cake is genuine heaven. Man, we were and continue to be so impressed and pleased. If I lived closer I'd stop in for treats at least weekly.

If all I could eat for the rest of my life was this bakery's pesto focaccia, I would have a long and happy existence.But seriously, go here and eat. The regular fare is good, but this bakery truly shines when it comes to custom orders.

I was not able to try the food or coffee so this is a review on my experience before walking out.I'm not sure what the appropriate rating would be for an experience like this. I had seen some recent posts about this bakery and was excited to try it out. My mom and I made a special trip to town just to go there. Its located in the center of a larger building that has other buisnesses inside. We walked up, noticed they didn't have too much to choose from, it was about noon, but they did have a few treats there that we wanted to try, so we waited for someone to grab our order.One man was ahead of us, already ordered, and was conversing with the girl icing a cake while the other scrambled to make coffee. Just two girls working. Neither one of them acknowledged we were standing there and completely ignored us for the entire time we had been there. Not even a "hi, we will be right with ya " ..just awkwardly ignored us. Another man had came and had been standing in line behind us. After about 10 minutes of kind of just awkwardly standing there in silence, ignored, We decided to leave, and just as we walked up to the door to leave the entire vicinity, about 30 seconds after we walked away from the counter. One of the girls met the man standing behind us with a "hello" so loud it echoed through the building. Can't help but feel like they waited for us to leave, Intentionally.

We had our wedding cake made here. Tiffany did such a great job. Absolute 10/10! The cake was beautiful and tasted wonderful. Her icing is awesome. It is not too sweet and tasted incredible.
