Sweet Oven Bakery

I've been enjoying Sweet Oven Bakery since they were only doing pop-ups and selling items from the owner's home. Now I visit so much more often, the brick and mortar location is in the Arden area and a short, fifteenish minute drive from my house. I crave their coffee and would drink it everyday if I could.The location is a bit hidden in a business park area with a lot of offices surrounding it, but once you find it, it's super easy to get to. They also have plenty of parking available.The inside has plenty of seating if you're looking to hang out and enjoy your items there and it would be a great spot to meet friends or get some work done. They share the space with Sandwich Spot and the two make a good pair.Sweet Oven Bakery offers specialty coffees, teas, macarons, cookies, fresh fruit, and some savory food items. They also do a happy hour special from 2-4pm where you can save a bit on the drinks. I tend to stop in after my meetings in the area a pick up a 2-3 drinks so I can enjoy one, share one with my husband, and have a coffee for the next day.The toasted coconut coffee is my absolute favorite and I order it everytime I stop in. I like to get a second drink that's whatever their newest creation is. They come up with some amazing combinations! I love the pistachio, fish sauce caramel, and Dubai Chocolate drink and really any new creation is worth trying.I also like to get a few macarons and the citrusy ones are our favorite. They're all really well made and flavorful though. The cookies are huge and they have so many great flavors. They also have cookie croissants which you don't see served in many places.I can't tell you how many times I've stopped in since they've opened, but it's a lot and I would consider myself a regular. If you're thinking about trying it, just do it, you won't be disappointed!

TLDR: -yes to parking - yes to seating area. -huge cookies, not sweet, underwhelming and expensive -expensive macaroons but delicious-drinks are alright. I ordered a little of almost everything on the menu just to try it out, and I have to admit I was a little underwhelmed. The reason why I'm giving a four star instead of a three is due to the delicious banana coffee that my dad got, it does taste like banana milk with coffee. The fish sauce Cookie was too strange for me. I did definitely smell the fish sauce. The ube cookie was so dark in purple but I didn't taste any ube. The cookies are on the expensive side however, they are huge and thick and not sweet. If you're into that then this is your place. I would say their macaroons are pricey, but I'm going to be fair and say they are large with a lot of cream and freshly baked in house and good! Lastly my matcha banana was alright I don't know why I was expecting to be mind blown. Just add a splash of banana milk to your regular matcha latte and you got the drink. I was very disappointed that they don't have any more durian items on the menu. Now onto other things about the establishment, there is plenty of parking and it is around offices so you would be sharing parking with office workers. It is located in a very strange plaza where I think they might be the only food option around unless you leave the area and go towards Arden mall. They do share a space with a sandwich shop and there are seating options as well.

FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE! Ok look let me tell you, it's hidden in a business park BUT once you find it ... it's ON! Nothing in this place is watered down, you get the full flavor. The Vietnamese coffee is delicious and flavorful. The iced coconut latte is one of my FAVORITES- it has the full espresso flavor and topped with a frothy creamy whipped foam and toasted coconut not a lot just perfect where it does its job and doesn't take away from all the flavors. The cookies and macarons are something special. And PS, they also make sandwiches.

Sweet Oven has their recipes down!! I've tried a number of their drinks from friends and finally made a stop here to grab some myself. Their Vietnamese coffee is delectable and I love the creative flavor combos. Definitely will be returning & recommend!

I'm so jealous of my coworkers that get to work next-door and indulge in Sweet Oven Bakery's delicious offerings. If I worked by this business I would go bankrupt and start running marathons to work off the glorious carbs that Mindy the owner creates! My first taste of their macarons was at a festival and now I don't have to wait for an event to eat them again. The variety of macarons, cookies and crookies (croissant+cookie) are long but whatever you decide will not be wrong. They all taste fantastic and not overwhelmingly sugar sweet. Their cookies are so huge, I was able to share still save some for the next day. Be sure to not sleep on their coffee drinks. This visit I picked the unique Fish Sauce coffee which had a hint of savory saltiness reminiscent of a salted caramel. The coffee itself was strong and bitter in the Vietnamese French press style which was the perfect counterpoint to the creamy sweetness.I'm so happy they have a permanent physical presence we can patronize 6 days a week. If only I could convince them to come open a store by my building....

In a nutshell; it's located around office complex places, so a bit out of the way, neat macarons and lattes though.Ordered online for pickup, went inside after some time but seems the only employee kinda missed our online order so had to wait for bit longer. It didn't take too long and the employee did apologize and gave some macarons as a bit of compensation for the tardiness. Overall place has a nice aesthetic corner but still a rather very office cafeteria feel to it. Macarons were a nice treat and the lattes weren't half bad. Overall wouldn't really go out of my way to get their stuff but if I was around the area then why not.

Early Cmas prezzie for me! Won the $25 gift card! So went down to try their famous macarons! Scored a box of Dubai chocolate macarons for the fun White Elephant gift exchange with family (oh yeah, they will fight over that!). I also got a sampler of my faves - pandan coconut, Dubai chocolate, vanilla bean, white rabbit, and pistachio! There's tons more flavors, too...like passionfruit raspberry! I also got a pandan cookie (couldn't ressit)! Will need to come back and try more! Thanks again to Sweet Oven Bakery for the generous prize and delicious treats!They are in the same location that The Spot Sandwich shop is located. So I granbed a hot pastrami sammie, too! Was also a great sandwich!!

Absolutely loved this shop :) They were super sweet and welcoming! Even recommended their new drink that was sooo good!! The banana cream matcha latte will definitely be my go to! The cookies are super yummy too and love that nothing is overly sweet! :D

Parking is 5/5 due to it being a business area so plenty of parking.Service is 5/5 the lady (possibly owner) was super friendly and patient Ambiance is 5/5 with music and lots of too for social distancing. It's super chilled and relaxing environment. Food 5/5 The cookies are no joke. I need to go to some type of sobriety group for sugar if I don't get myself under control or something because man they are addictive. Price is reasonable. BTW my favorite is the dark chocolate and pandan Stop by Sweet Oven if you have a sweet tooth because you will be fixed. Don't forget to create your account for points or give it to someone you know goes there regularly like I will be. Oh!FYI they are CLOSED Sunday and located behind the building where it will take you to on the map so follow the little signs. Toodles.

Who would've though that fish sauce goes well in an iced latte? Definitely not me, but after coming to sweet oven bakery, I can say that fish sauce and coffee is a unique yet tasty combination. This drink is amazing, and the foam that tops the drink is spectacular! Sweet Oven Bakery has a unique assortment of cookies, macaroons, and other desserts. My favorite cookies were the pandan cookie and the Oreo cookie. They were soft and delicious. Ambiance: plenty of seating and clean! Service: the owner was so nice and answered all questions about her business and treats she's made.
