Sweet Dozen

I've driven by this place dozens of times and have always wanted to come in for their mochi donuts. Years later, I finally did, on a Monday. There were a few people there when I arrived, and guess what.. they did not have mochi donuts! Oops! Turns out they only have it on weekends (I'm sure someone probably wrote it in a review that I didn't see.) I was bummed, but the guy behind the counter was beyond friendly. He patiently explained the situation (that business is slowly on weekdays so they dont have it then) and did not pressure me to buy/try anything else. I ended up requesting one regular donut to try. When I paid, he told me to skip the tipping part. When I got to my car to look at the donut, it turns out that he gave me two! The service that he provided was amazing. It's so rare to find such a genuine and generous business these days and I hope they stay in business for a long time to come!

Yelp helped me find a new donut shop. On my way to Reno and did a search on that route and found Sweet Dozen. Many great pictures and great reviews. No seating inside. Very clean, the donuts on display were very appealing. Quick and friendly service. I had a little trouble ordering. I requested a dozen regular and a dozen fancy, plus two chocolate cruellers. I was ordering the dozens for my son's work. Which is located nearby. Person behind the counter clarified by saying regular are just the cake donuts at the bottom level. And offered me a number of options which I found confusing. Maybe I just don't speak clearly enough. I ended up Having to ask for an additional chocolate crueller. She had only put one in the bag. And I ended up with just one dozen of a mix of donuts, including some fancy. So maybe sweet dozen refers to sort of a limitation? The chocolate cruellers were very fresh. The icing had a great texture and was generously applied. Unfortunately, the flavor wasn't very chocolatey. It almost had a berry flavor predominant. But I don't want to be too picky. These are 1 million times better than the cold, wet scones I got at Starbucks yesterday. Those were inedible - I discarded them.Sweet Dozen is doing a lot right and earning the good reviews.

This place is a hidden gem tucked away in the corner of a shopping center.Its a pretty small shop but its meant for quick service anyways.This spot is owned by a great family and the staff are very friendly!They have an amazing variety of donuts and the donuts are super fluffy and baked really well!

Oh my gaaahhh give me all of them! Fresh, deelish, fun flavors, classic with a twist. I love this place!

We have been here a few times and have found the donuts are very fresh. The service is also quick and friendly. The workers were so friendly! There are few small tables inside and serve yourself coffee station. There cronuts were so light and fluffy too!

Donuts were delicious.A good assortment of cake donuts, fritters, filled donuts and bars.

Service was fast and friendly :) I'm not usually a big fan of donuts but i am a big fan of blueberry so the blueberry donut caught my eye! So good!! I also got a ham and Swiss croissant with everything bagel seasoning and he threw in an extra blueberry donut. Great service!

Great donuts!! First time and will be back!! They cinnamon roll. Doughnut was my favorite!!

Great customer service and very tasty donuts. The price point was good too. I would revisit this donut shop.

I give two stars for good donuts. I used to go there a lot but the cashier got rude. They were so kind before. Now there is an older asian lady that works the front. She is rude and judgmental.
