Sunshine Sensory Gym

I can hardly believe I'm the first to write a Yelp review for Sunshine Sensory Gym! This facility is truly essential for our Woodland community, and I sincerely hope it receives continued support. Owned by Rachel, an Occupational Therapist, Sunshine Sensory Gym is making strides in promoting inclusion by creating a space where typically developing children and those with disabilities can learn and play together. As a speech-language pathologist in Woodland, I've heard so many wonderful things about this little treasure from colleagues and friends. I decided to take my daughters there for the first time during Thanksgiving break, and they absolutely loved it! They played non-stop for the full hour and came home thoroughly exhausted. I plan to keep bringing them back, as I want them to understand that children with disabilities are just as capable as they are.

We absolutely LOVE this little play gym! We come once a week. My 2 year old loves this space and all that it has to offer. We play on the trampoline, all the sensory options are nice too! The ball pit is a fast favorite. We enjoy seeing familiar faces when we come here too. Miss Ashlynn is so sweet to all the littles. If you need to get your kiddos socializing in a calm, fun, safe indoor place this is the place for you!
