I consider Ulupi and Navin Patel's small family health food store to be the best in Scacramento. I have gone here for decades. I always get their full attention, and either of them can recommend a vitamin or supplement or food which is best suited for my needs, as I am gluten sensitive. And I find their products are fresh, even though packaged.Although they are very modest, with just two employees in the store, each of them actually has a PhD in the sciences. Navin's uncle is my retinal surgeon and their daughter graduated chiropractic school. This is a very knowledgeable couple from a family with a depth of knowledge about health.If you want a personal, small quiet health food store, this is it.I do travel across town to come here now that I have moved, as they just come up with the brand and type of health food which gives me the best result.Their discounted prices are better than the prices of other stores' sale prices, I was surprised to see, after paying more elsewhere on sale.They also carry excellent Indian spices, and Ulupi helps me with learning to cook the wonderful Indian food and Avurvedic cooking. There is even an Indian Supermarket and an Indian restaurant next door.Parking is free and easy next to the store.I love that they have such integrity. They are partners with us in making the best possible health food available for our families.

Eveca was very knowledgeable and eager to help. Her recommendations were on point for our needs. I will definitely return whenever in town visiting family nearby.

I stopped by there today to find the store under new management. The lady who bought the store is super friendly and knowledgeable. She said she's been in the industry for over 30 years. She was able to recommend me some products that I'm rather excited to try. I highly recommend checking out the store and picking her brain.

This places sells over priced products that are a lot less than expected. For example i bought some pills and they were filled less than a quarter of the bottle! The man owner doesn't even know to acknowledge his costumers correctly. He needs to learn how to appreciate them.

You think you know, but you have no idea what a heatlh food store is until you've been into Sunshine Market. I came to this amazing couple sick, confused, and at the end of my rope-they changed my life.I've added at least 10 more years to my life span going into this store, and have also gained knowledge that is priceless and precious. Everytime I go into the store it is clean, professional, and it's also a learning experience each time.Please go into the store with a open mind, these great people will not steer you wrong. A lot of people are scared of change which I totally understand but I am a living example of how much of a blessing these people and their store can be."Invest in health now, or pay for sickness later."

I have an autoimmune issue and get eczema frequently. The owner, Farzana, gave me a sample of the Triana skin relief to try. I told her that when I get my next occurrence that I would try her cream, and it worked wonders!! I just tried out this jar of skin relief ointment called Triana for eczema. It worked so well that I went back to get some more. The workers there are very nice, kind, and patient, even being willing to explain the benefits of the product. They're always trying to sell the most quality, organic, and natural products. I definitely recommend getting Triana if you have some form of dermatitis, eczema, or psoriasis, since it can help out with the itching and dry skin.

"TRIANA" SKIN RELEIF product I was diagnosed with dermatitis/eczema and my doctor prescribed a Protopic (with harmful warnings on it) on my face and arm which made me uncomfortable. Instead, I tried TRIANA on my face and arm. Within 3 days 99% of the dermatitis on my arm is gone, can barely see it, one more treatment 'it will be gone! My face was EXTREMELY dry/flakey, with a couple more treatments it will be gone and I will be able to use foundation . This product is AMAAAAAZING!! Great supply of essential oils and supplements Some of the staff are great. Sadly the produce is greatly reduced and high priced. They give coffee on Wednesdays.
