Sunrise Mall Farmers Market

I guess Sunrise Mall is a thing of the past because there were hardly any cars around other than where the farmers market is in the front parking lot. There are quite a few vendors with a diverse array of produce and products. And there were quite a few customers, too! I was looking for green almonds. It's a thing in like middle Eastern and south East Asian cultures to eat fresh green almonds. I thought California is the place to get them since this is where almonds are grown right? Wrong. Can't find them.... If anyone has suggestions, lmk! We walked up and down the aisles of vendors. There were plenty of produce stands with fresh vegetables and fruits. The strawberries, cherries and apricots all looked and smelled amazing. There were also vendors selling lemonade and cooked food. There were also people selling craft types of things. People were friendly for the most part and it looked like both customers and business people were happy sitting in the hot Sun and in the parking lot. There was plenty of parking. I'd definitely recommend this farmers market if you're not looking for green almonds haha.

Saturday at the beginning of the month means our house needs produce. We came looking for some specific items but also hunting for gems. A really good turn out today. We were able to find the the eggplant and leafy greens. In addition the Okra looked fantastic so we picked up some as well as a spicy yogurt dip - the two Ps, protein and probiotics. We truly enjoyed talking with all the vendors, everyone is so friendly and a smile will get you basically any sample you want. Pretty of space if you have a stroller, in addition, quite dog friendly. They even had a booth with dog treats for sale. The high today is only 79, pretty ideal for outdoor shopping, so cmon we need to support local.

This morning my boyfriend, toddler and I decided to take a walk down to this local farmers market Sunrise Mall holds each Saturday from 8 AM-1 PM. We were pleasantly surprised to see so much fresh produce and by chance scored their last bag of Satsumas for just $5.00! These were some of the sweetest and juiciest Satsumas I've ever had, come early before these delicious mandarin oranges are all gone! We also stopped by Adi's Collection booth @adi.s_collection on Instagram and picked out some beautiful hand poured soy wax candles to take home as well, my favorite was the Pumpkin Chai fall candle, it smells incredible! I would definitely recommend perusing through this local Farmer's Market, we enjoyed the live music playing and had a delicious lunch in front of the Farmer's Market at California Tacos Truck @cali.streettacos on Instagram! We'll be back!

The Sunrise Mall Farmer's Market just keeps getting better and better! The amount of vendors continue to grow, the organic produce is ample, and there is a continuous presence now of coffee, tea, and food vendors alongside the produce and craft booths.This suburban farmer's market attracts local farms and also some specialty ones, like Watsonville strawberries which are the best you'll ever taste. Zena Foods is also a routine vendor with amazing hummus. Be sure to check it out. Pro tip: find Mr. Vang's booth and you're going to find the best deals on pesticide-free produce.

This is a lovely farmers market with tons of options. You can browse all the fresh fruits, veggies and vendors your heart desires! Depending on the time of year determines when certain fruits and veggies are available. Came here last Saturday and the romaine lettuce looked sad but the blueberries were out in full force! There's also a couple food trucks usually here offering Philippino food and Mexican food that I've yet to try. This farmers market small and set up across from the bank one sunrise. You can get anything here from fruits and veggies to raggedy Anne dolls to cbd bath bombs! Check it out sometime :)

No problem finding parking here at all as the parking lot is Sunrise Mall's (and at the time that I went, the mall was closed).It's a neighborhood-size outdoor market. More emphasis on fresh produce (standard variety such as carrots, radishes, oranges, snap peas) than other food products. Not the cheapest prices I've found at a farmers market (was buying a small bunch of asparagus for $5 worth it? Debatable.). I did buy some pepper saplings (gypsy and chocolate bell pepper.....it doesn't taste like chocolate, just the color) from a nice lady here. My green thumb is growing!Worth checking out if you're curious, but most likely you'll stay at your go-to farmers market.

Nice FM. Tons of parking and great vendors to choose from. FM is at this location on Saturday and Sunday.

Walked through with my girlfriend, located in the parking lot of Sunrise Mall, vendors set up stalls from 8am-1pm. My girlfriend and I like to walk around and buy products from different vendors, need to support local businesses! My girlfriend and I bought locally grown satsuma mandarins from Bouris Farm based in Orangevale. We also bought baklava and kawa tea leaves from Baklava & Coffee, based in Folsom. Lastly after walking around, we stopped at a food truck called California Street Tacos and bought "Super Burrito with birria, Breakfast Burrito with bacon and eggs, and Torta made with birria and fries. Everything we got today was so good!!! Next week, we're going to try other food stalls.

I was very impressed with this Farmers Market at Sunrise Mall in Citrus Heights. Plenty of vendors to choose from. Also a variety of non food vendors. Would definitely go again!

Big jakes hot sauce had a girl working today 6/10 who I heard call someone a bitch, I want to go to the farmers market & have a good time & this was the worst vibe I could've experienced. Very disappointed & will not be attending this one again. Maybe they should check who they're hiring because that's crazy
