Sunflower Drive In

Finally got a chance to check out the infamous Sunflower Drive-in and sure did not disappoint ! It was nice weather out today but we opted to get our food to go since the weather was also chilly today. There is outdoor seating available and plenty of parking in front. Ambiance is super chill and casual. Staff were friendly and helpful. You just order (much like a taco stand) and pick up at the next window. The wait was short and we were on our way. I ordered their nachos and hubby and his dad got the regular burrito , one with black beans and one with refried beans . I devoured my light and fresh tasting nachos. Hubby and father-in-law enjoyed their burritos as well.

I hope they have this type of food in heaven!! This place always wows me. 10 stars for service, taste and quality. That's it you must go here to experience this heavenly food. Healthy, clean tasting and delicious, exceptionally delicious.Go here tomorrow.

Consistent great food, love their Millet Sandwich and my husband enjoys the Patty Melt. There's always a steady flow of customers too. Ambiance is simple and clean with a long picnic table inside to stay warm and tables outside.

The most tasty Egg Salad Sandwich this side of the Missisippi. Takes me back to being a kid again and my mother making them. I know my mother dosent use the internet. So I can confidently say Sunflowers is better knowing my mother wont see this comment..Kudos

Lots of people here wearing alpaca hats. I think that's what they're called. Lots of harem pants too. Definitely an organic vibe. I really liked the food. The sandwiches were exceptional. Lots of creative vegetarian and vegan selections.

It's a nice to see a restaurant like the survive how many years now? I think for me 35 years I've been coming here everything is consistent flavours always on point options for vegan or vegetarian. The most delicious food in Sacramento they set the trend many years ago and it was, way ahead of its time!!

Whenever I'm in Old Fair Oaks, I like stopping by Sunflower Drive In for some healthy fare. The Patty melt was delish, but I found the potato salads to be slightly bland; would be great with a little more seasoning. The best part this visit was dining with a rooster on premises :)

Wanted to try this place for the longest time as it was recommended by a colleague! We wanted to try everything so we ordered the mushroom millet, nutburger, and patty melt. Honestly all 3 were soooooo good! My favorite had to be the nutburger but the other 2 were also delicious! All the ingredients were extremely fresh and each bite was filled with texture and flavor! The cashier recommended the carrot juice as it is freshly made. We were skeptical since we aren't the biggest carrot fans but we are so glad we ordered it. The first sip may be overwhelmingly carrot-like but each sip tastes better and better and after a couple sips, we were obsessed! Would highly recommend the carrot juice. We will definitely be back for more healthy, delicious, vegetarian food!

Immediately upon opening I see this. How do you expect me to eat this?? I have always had decent experiences here but this was just awful, not to mention the girl behind the counter was very unfriendly
