Sugar + Cream

Yum!Well, this goes to show that I have not been inside the Galleria in at least five months... roughly around the time I ended my part time job at Macy's. Caught my eye and stopped by this little stand just right outside the soon closing Aeropostale and in front of Sears on the 2nd Level... ooh! ice cream! It was a cupcake place once then a tea stand and now, yes! ice cream!Their ice creams are sold by cup or cone. Daughter and I each had the small cup [$3.50] and tried two flavors each. I went for the classics, cookies and cream and rocky road while my teen had the rainbow sherbet and cookie dough. Even before we started doing anything, including dinner, we had our dessert first. I always have time for dessert LoL! The ice creams were delicious!, creamy and flavorful from (or similar to) Gunther's. They also offer ice cream sandwiches, ice cream macaroons, milkshakes, and fruit freeze. Oh, and if getting ice cream watch the plastic spoon magically turn from white to pink. Sugar + cream is probably one of the BEST ice cream spots right next to The Parlor Ice Cream in Roseville. The cute little ice cream booth would be located on the 2nd level near Aeropostale and Hottopic. Sugar + Cream not only offers Ice Cream but French Macarons and Milkshakes! For the ice cream flavors that they have are quite similar to The Parlor's flavors and they also keep a mixed variety of flavors! You can never go wrong with the classic Taro and Green tea flavors. One of the flavors that made this little ice cream spot stand out is their Horchata ice cream! Probably my favorite flavor at the moment! Not often you see a favorite Mexican drink as an ice cream flavor! Can't wait to come back during 2$ Tuesdays.

The ice cream is creamy. The service is sweet. The young ladies happily give you tastings (with a real spoon) of any flavor. I tried the champagne sorbet (refreshing) and the green tea (very flavorful), so I got a medium scoop of each ($5.50). Pretty generous sized scoops; a small would have easily satisfied my sweet tooth. They have freshly made waffle cones, "ponchik" (donut stuffed with ice cream), and ice cream macarans available too.My favorite thing about Sugar + Cream was the plastic temperature-sensitive spoon they give you. The white spoon turns pink/red when it hits the cold ice cream. It's really cool. Pun intended.

Saw this spot on Yelp so I had to sort of ...lean in, as I was strolling by. I need to read up on what their story is and what makes them different and special but let me tell you what made them special to us that day. Val was great, super friendly and she showered us with gratitude for even expressing interest. I had this inner struggle going between Taro and Birthday Cake. In the name of all thing holy and delicious... (Insert Happy Dance) their Birthday Cake ice cream is what you dream of a Birthday Cake ice cream tasting like. If you like that flavor, you will LOVE this. Legit cake pieces and creamy frosting, fabulous. The Taro. The bar is high for me on Taro, being an Islander of sorts. I've grown up with it and I know what I like about it and don't like. The Taro here was BOMB DIGGITY. It was actually what we chose! Brought some for my mom to try as well and she was just as crazy about it as we were. Nailed it S&C.. Nailed it.

I ordered Strawberry Cheese small in a cup and it was huge for a one scoop portion. Taste was just right, not overly sweet. Price was reasonable.

The ice cream here is delicious. The only problem is it is very hard to find. It is upstairs in a kiosk and the sign is very small. It's located just beyond the food court not I the actual food court. Tried the birthday cake, vanilla bean and the one with Golden Grahams. It is totally worth walking around the whole mall to try and find. Just an FYI to all of you thinking 'oh I'll enjoy a scoop here and take one Togo for later' well think again! They don't have tops for their cups and it will get all over everything.

This is a cute stand in the Roseville Galleria that sells super cool ice cream flavors, macaroons, and amazing shakes! Each time I come to the mall, I sample a different ice cream flavor here. The workers are very nice and attentive. They are very knowledgeable about their job which I appreciate. My favorite flavors are taro, birthday cake, pumpkin (seasonal), green tea, and strawberry cheesecake. They are all amazing and are a must try... especially the taro! It's nice eating this ice cream while strolling around the mall.

Omg, sooooo amazing. Love love the Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream... Negative calories, of course, but for some reason my skinny jeans disagree... I can always walk in the opposite directions on an escalator to fix that problem... :) Overall, they have great staff and a delicious variety Gunther's brand ice cream.

I love how they have fun and delicious flavors as opposed to regular ice cream shop. Valya is doing such a good job running this place. I had her make a milkshake with the 'Taro Macaroon' sandwich . AND SHE DID.m!! Which by the way was out this world. Love their customer service and talkative manners. Super sweet and present like their ice creams lol. Please don't leave this corner ever!!!

I decided to treat myself during lunch and got some macarons. At first I was slightly disappointed bc the were crispy (but they tasted awesome cause I gobbled down four of them), and then left the other two out for a while. Came back to them being perfect macarons, crispy shell and soft middle, I must've eaten the first few too soon . I'll definitely be going again, those were some delicious macarons (caramel, expresso, and Oreo).
