Subway

I will say that I have a love/hate relationship with Subway. Their locations are literally everywhere which is a plus if you're looking for a nice alternative to fast food. But depending on which Subway you visit, your overall experience might be an amazing one or a mediocre one. The one I am reviewing which is inside Market Square that is next to Arden Fair Mall was just average at-best.As its already past 3:00pm on a Saturday afternoon, my stomach is growling as the only thing I consumed that day was coffee. What really made me impatient is that the service here moved at a snails-pace. There were only 3 customers in front of me but I kid you not, they took at least 6 minutes to make one customers' sandwich! So over 20 minutes later, I was finally up.I end up ordering their $5.99 "Sub of the Day" meal-deal which is their 6" Black Forest Ham complete with chips and a drink. The employee (or what they call a "sandwich artist") had no personality while not being very friendly at all. She almost seemed as if she did not want to be there. Customer service goes a long way and even after I said "hello" and "thank you", I did not get the same gratitude back.Overall, the sandwich was decent (hence the 3-stars on this review) while the bread was soft and fresh. The produce and meat was also good as I thoroughly enjoyed each bite which helped curb my starving appetite that afternoon. But all in all, just an average (and forgettable) experience for me.

One of the best spots for me since 2014!Good fresh sandwiches, amazing nice staff!!I always like to eat there!! The garlic herb oil is so good!!

Fast convenient and what I expected. Long time fan of Subway and was not disappointed.This one is located inside Arden Mall Cinema complex. It could easily be missed It is next to the back door and the side entrance to Barnes & Noble. Had the new Reuben ( on Rye roll of course).

This is the best Subway restaurant in Sacramento. I realize "best" is subjective, but I would not waste my time reviewing a fast food restaurant in a food court if I wasn't completely blown away by my experience. I came here three times this week, and each time I visited, I was greeted promptly even though they were busy. I was moved along quickly - no time wasted! But despite the speed of service, I was surprised that the quality of service did not diminish. Usually when there's speed, there's no time for "good customer service".I asked for a lot of extra vegetables too and guess what....she gave me extra vegetables! No look of annoyance or being stingy. The bread was soft, food was fresh, and everything as clean. It was a very positive experience!!

So very bad. We all know the veggies are borderline. The meats are... If you can call it meat? Maybe not 100% real chicken. Maybe not even 50% idk. Employees are sad and underpaid. So of course they don't care about making customers happy. Management is high strung and it seems like a hostile work environment. Store profits are put before making a descent sandwich. My observation

We stopped by to grab a sandwich before the movies. The staff were friendly and quick. Being brand new this location is super clean.........for now :).We got a foot long tuna sandwich with toasted wheat bread and it was yummy like always.

Very rude and dismissive. My son had earned a free kids sandwich from school and the teacher forgot to fill out the form. He was very proud that he had earned that certificate and it really hurt him that they wouldn't honor it. It wasn't his fault the teacher forgot. A little better communication wouldn't of left of feeling like we did something wrong.

This is honestly the best subway I've ever been to. The food is always fresh and organized. The ingredient display is clean and (this is rare for Subways) closed when not in use (!!!). The cookies are consistently baked perfectly. The soda fountains are easily accessible and allow free refills. The prices are wonderful as well.However, the best quality of this Subway, by far, are the people working there. The owner is very sweet and all of the staff are kind and professional. I go here every day for lunch and have never been anything but impressed with the quality and consistency of the service at this location. A+!!!
