I got a haircut here and I got a short haircut to an inch above my shoulders. I really like my haircut, it feels so much better.

Very welcoming. I have been hunting for a local stylist for some time now. Sadly, I have worked through multiple bad hair cuts. Once again, I decided to try a new salon and was pleasantly surprised! It was very last minute, but the lovely Glenda went out of her way to seek a stylist that might have time for a pixie cut and color (fairly simple). Melissa, whom I now adore, met with me and was able to provide exemplary service. I would highly recommend looking into finding a stylist here. It's very well kept and everyone I came across was pleasant.

I just moved to Roseville and found this fabulous Salon. I was lucky to get same day appointment with Mary,she did a wonderful hair cut. She was very precise and listened to what I wanted in a cut. Made another appointment for myself and my husband.

I have been going to this salon since the first day it opened. The receptionist at the front is ALWAYS friendly and willing to help anyone who walks into the salon. I've personally witnessed her going out of her way to make sure we are greeted and making sure our stylist knows we are there. She is NOT a manager of the studio. If I ever experienced a problem of any kind there I would speak with my stylist about it. The 1 Star is not valid. That person did not receive service at the salon. If his daughter was unhappy about a service she should be the one doing the review about her stylist... not a mentally unstable verbally abusive father. Sugar NOT piss C S. and you've changed you review since this morning. Your review is not valid or correct. Plenty of people heard and saw the way you acted. I assure you wouldn't of acted that way in front of the police.

What can I say about the awesome job Carrie Camin does on my hair! Salon Camin is amazing. I have been going to her now for almost 15 years! She is always on time and does an amazing job on my hair & my daughters hair. Weddings, proms, special occasions, you name it. She is always there no matter what to fit us in and make us feel special! She always takes my referrals as well. Even though I know she is busy. In all the year I have seen Carrie, she is always, always, alwaysthere. Rain or shine. What an amazing person & stylist. I love the receptionist as well. She is always there to greet you with a smile and will check on you and make sure you feel welcomed.

I would rate 0 if I could. In Sept 2020, right as salons were opening back up again, I had an appt with Bailee to lighten my hair. This was my first experience in a professional salon and I was really excited. I'd been coloring my own hair with Paul Mitchell color prior to this just to get rid of the gray hairs. I have dark brown hair and my end goal was to get to lavender. Bailee explained to me that this process would take several sessions to achieve the color I want and I was ok with that. My appt was scheduled 12-4 and I didn't leave until about 7:30pm. Being that this was my first time getting my hair done by a professional and getting it bleached, I wasn't familiar with the normal process for this and thought everything was fine. First, she left the bleach on my hair for 3+ hours! That's the amount of time it took for the application and she never washed out the sections that had already been sitting in bleach for almost an hour. At the time I didn't know that was NOT ok and the average time is 30min for previously colored hair. After washing out the bleach she toned my hair and there was still some red tones in the hair. She asked me if I wanted her to tone it again or leave it that way to see if I like it. I told her to tone it. She didn't explain to me that she would be toning it back to a dark brown. $220 later I left with barely a shade lighter than I went in with. I still didn't realize the extent of the damage she did to my hair until weeks later. I had beautiful healthy medium length hair when I went in. Since then I have had to regularly cut off inches of dead ends (I'm at shoulder length hair now). I have spend so much money on hair treatments and masks just to bring my hair back to life and it's still a work in progress, 8 months later! I can not bleach my hair again until the condition of my hair improves. It was the worst experience I've ever had and hope no one else has to deal with that. The reason it took me so long to write a review is because It took me awhile to realize the extent of the damage she caused and I was hesitant for awhile bc I didn't want to be mean. But at this point I'm very frustrated because my hair is ruined and now will take many more months to get the process I want started. I wish I had pictures to share but unfortunately I do not. My new hair stylist can vouch for how bad my hair has been since then!

UPDATE: James has moved to W Salon Suites in Rocklin and I have followed him there.Review for James Penrose:After my last stylist became a stay at home mom, I was on the hunt for someone who could do a great job to my hair. For me it is hard to find someone who is willing to listen to my ideas and tell me what will work and what won't with my hair. And I am one stubborn fool, so it takes a lot to get me to change my mind. For a while I had James cutting my hair the same way I've always had it cutin the past, but he was able to convince me to take a risk and go short on the sides with it longer on top, swept to the side and back. This cut has been a hit and I constantly am having people compliment me on the look. Plus James is always great to talk to so the cut seems to go very quickly. As long as James continues cutting hair, I will be a returning customer.

Oh my goodness! I am so glad I called and was scheduled with Tara!!! I have been coloring my hair on and off for the past year, just to keep things interesting. After moving to Roseville from Orlando, FL, it was time for a new color. I showed Tara pictures of what I wanted and told her I just wanted my ends trimmed. She made some suggestions that I liked, so I went with a cut instead of a trim. Everything looked great. Then she asked about my bangs. No one touches my bangs more than once. I give new stylists a chance, but no one does them better than me... til Tara. My bangs look amazing. I was hooked. But wait! There's more! After the great cut, Tara started on my color. She painted in highlights that look natural. After two processes of red dye, my color was set (The appointment did take longer than I thought it would, but I think that was because I chose to do a second 'coat,' if you will, of the red dye). I love it. It's perfect for fall. I know I'm going to struggle with keeping the red in my hair, so I guess I'll just have to go back.

I have been going here for years for different services. I find that because everyone there works for themselves the quality is just better. It is great to have the individual rooms - so much better than having to listen to a bunch of people gossip. My new hairdresser Diana is wonderful.
