The weak ass shrimp scampi "meal" 16.99 + tax. And it's FOUR PIECES OF BROCCOLI and TEN BABY SHRIMPS.

I've always loved Strings in Roseville but unfortunately, they closed several years back. We decided to try Strings in Carmichael for my birthday. What a disappointment. The lasagna pastry wasn't cooked all the way thru and the pastry was doughy. The Alfredo sauce was bland. I was so disappointed!The service was excellent but there was only us and one other table of diners. I'm sad after enjoying Strings for so many years. Unfortunately, I won't be back.

Seems like it's going down hill. The prices of food do not match the quality. We got a pizza for $18 and it looks like it should be for a child. My husband ordered Alfredo & it looks like plain noodles with a slap of sauce ? I thought this was supposed to be an Italian restaurant... Not worth the money .

The food, ambiance and service was excellent. We had a party of 10 for a birthday and they were very accommodating. The eggplant Parmesan was delicious. The salad was also very good. They serve either soup or salad with a breadstick with the entrees. They also had Italian soda which was a nice indulgence. I would highly recommend for party's and for larger groups.

The lasagna I ordered had black olives in it. I wish that would have been disclosed in the menu because I loathe black olives. My salad had wilted and brown lettuce mixed with cabbage. Maybe they ran out of lettuce for salad and figured heck with it we'll just give her cabbage with a few sunflower seeds? The tiramisu was covered with chocolate syrup. Nope. I remember Strings in Roseville being the absolute best. This was a terrible disappointment after an exhausting day.

Here is my two cents on the quality quantity and price... I had it delivered via Uber eats.. it arrived in a timely fashion..I order, spaghetti and meatballs with two extra meatballs .. I got two very small pieces of bread.. the salad it was also very small as a side dish And I ordered a macaroni and cheese child portion ...This was way over price for what I received ... the meatballs, were of reasonable size..The taste of the meatballs had an excessive seasoning which I was unable to determine .. I know it was not garlic nor was it oregano.... Whatever it was, it was too much.. the spaghetti and meatballs were $20 and the extra meatballs were six dollars.. there was also not enough sauce for the amount of noodles..I had to add extra sauce from Walmart. Great value line. .. actually the Walmart great value taste much better than the sauce overall..The portion and the amount of cheese sauce on the macaroni and cheese was also not worth the money ..I received two pieces of garlic bread that were only the size of a dollar silver coin Overall, this one is a waste of money, costing too much for too little I had much better spaghetti and meatballs when I lived in Florida .... And that is saying a lot....

I got the Lasagna and Tortellini alla panna combo. The Lasagna was barely a clump of meat, I think there was pasta in there somewhere, there was definitely sauce, and lots of it, and some discernible lumps of cheese. The tortellini was just horrible. It was way over cooked and tasted old. None of it was hot. Gross is all I got to describe it. I'm done with Strings.

Tuesday nights are going to be amazing! Now that we have a "date night" spot - that has some really good food for a really good deal! To the owner's response: my issue was her essentially accusing me of lying. Then when I called her out on it she rudely said I can come back and switch it out. Like rude again after calling me a liar. That's my problem. Also why should I have to load my child back up drive 30 minutes round trip because your staff is too lazy to check an order for correctness and then be rude to customers when they call about it. Tfw you work all day then take your kid to swim team for an hour after and all they ask for is spaghetti and meatballs so you call in an order to strings and pick it up instead of having a tired six year old maintain in a restaurant. Drive all the way home and unload the car just to find out the spaghetti and meatballs aren't in the bag. Cue tired six year old bummed because that's the only thing they asked for and the only reason you ordered from strings. Now call the restaurant to let them know and have the hostess tell you the chef basically says your lying and he KNOWS he put spaghetti and meatballs in the bag. Yeah my big plan to get rich is to scam a Strings Cafe in Carmichael. She got snippy and said I was "Welcome to drive the second meatloaf back and exchange it" Nah I'll just never come here again and pay $20 for what amounts to a TV dinner
