Fun place to go line dancing. Wednesday and Friday get super crowded since they're 18+ nights, Saturday is a little better.Haven't tried food here but their drinks are alright for some liquid courage.

I enjoyed $10 rib eye day on Thursday. Came with preset sides of mashed potatoes and zucchini. Not too shabby for the price. Works like a cafe where you order at the register and then pick up at the window and you serve yourself. Lady at the window was super sweet and nice.Happened to come here when they were hosting a niners event. The vibes were great, and inside was pretty spacious as they host salsa nights or line dancing. Heard they do Prime Rib nights on Fridays and Saturdays so I'll be back for that.

In town for Golden Skies and thought, hmm, let's check this place out, it's country bar.1. Night before a giant country music festival they host salsa night.2. Place was 40% capacity.....not busy.3. Bartender.....biggest asshole.4. We usually vibe good, get in the mix, the people were cool but after the bartender issues, we left after 1 drink......5. I wanna say I'll try again, but probably won't, not a welcoming place so the 10 dollar cover didn't make sense.Boo on you!!

I've been to Stoney's a few times, most recently this past Saturday for a Girls Night Out. We arrived after 8pm and it started slowing getting busy around 9pm. The dance floor had a few people cutting loose by the time we got there!I like that they offer dance lessons from 7-8pm which we will definitely be taking advance of next time. We were able at least do the Electric Slide and the Cupid Shuffle - the other dances were a bit harder to learn that quickly - didn't stop us from trying though! They also do Karaoke around 9pm inside and that's always a blast - whether you have the confidence to actually sing or are just an innocent bystander. They're food is pretty good too! We didn't partake this time, but I am a fan of their fried pickles! I know that they did a Prime Rib dinner special earlier in the evening as well!Drinks are strong and fairly cheap. Parking is a bit questionable depending on what time you arrive and there was a $7 cover charge when we showed up just after 8pm.

This was my 2nd time at Stoney's, and this time, my friends and I came for $10 Prime Rib Night on Saturdays! We didn't go into it with the highest of expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised how good the prime rib was! It also came with a side of veggies and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were creamy, and I loved how the jus was on the side. I ordered my prime rib medium well, and it was just how I like it! Service was great, and the food came out very quickly! We also came for line dancing lessons, but they seemed to only teach an intermediate dance which was a bummer, so we opted to listen to karaoke, but definitely will be back!

Now, don't get me wrong, they were delicious, but there was a little hiccup with the prices. It seems like they were doing the salsa themselves with those price changes, but hey, I'm all about rolling with the punches, and I still had a blast.And speaking of salsa, I found myself shaking it up on the dance floor in a salsa class. Move over, Fred Astaire, because I now consider myself a bona fide salsa dancer! Who knew a birthday celebration could turn into a dance extravaganza?But wait, there's more! Hold onto your hats, because this place has bull riding. Yes, you heard me right - bull riding! I grabbed life by the horns and hopped on that mechanical bull for the first time. It was a thrill like no other, and I can't wait to round up the gang for a ladies' night or a wild couples' night out.So, there you have it, folks. If you're looking for a place that's part fiesta, part adventure, and all-around fun, this hidden gem is where it's at. Just keep an eye on those drink prices, and get ready for a wild ride you won't soon forget!

Where do I start?! This place was an absolute blast. We went here with a group and I'm convinced you can't have this much fun anywhere else in Sac all at once. They do lessons from 6-8p and then you dance as much or as little as you like. I expected the drink options to be limited, but they had everything from lemon drops to beer to shots to keep everyone happy. The sliders were tasty and I didn't want to stop eating the fries! The loaded tater tots will have me coming back. There is a good amount of seating around the dance floor, but get there early if you're there on a Saturday night and want seats. We never had to wait long to get more drinks and the bathrooms were clean. I want to spend every Saturday night here for the rest of the summer!

Sadly Disappointed. Stoney's has a reputation in Sacramento for being a fun square-dancing bar that locals have been recommending since I moved here. I finally gathered the courage and my girls to go square dancing on a Friday night. We checked the website to make sure that we got there in time for the lessons. First issue was that the website was wrong. The square dancing lessons didn't start until about 8:30, which created a big gap of time from when we arrived.This wasn't a big deal because I wanted to try the food for Yelp. This was my next mistake because we all got bad food poisoning. We ordered three different dishes: Shredded Pork Quesadilla, Mac and Cheese, and Chicken Fingers with Fries. The food was okay for bar food but definitely worth getting food poisoning. I was not drinking that night as the designated driver so I know that it was the food since we shared the food. I will not be coming back unfortunately nor will I be recommending it to friends. Maybe the locals skip the food or know something that I don't?

They give out free beer cheese nachos which is pretty cool. If you want strong drinks go to the back bar , I'm a cheap date when it comes to alcohol and the front bar made 2 margaritas and they tasted like sour mix ...went to the back bar and the 2 guy bartenders were awesome ! Lines were longer but they were faster , it was pbr night so busier the usual but line dancing was so fun and the live music was good ! I noticed everyone is really nice crowd was friendly , 3.5 in general workers are all nice
