Stingers

This was my first visit to Stingers. It took place on a Friday, at about lunchtime. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a beer.In terms of service, I'll say it was "acceptable under the circumstances". I won't speculate if it was a scheduling issue or a worker availability issue, but there was only one person to take care of the bar and all of the tables in the restaurant. They tried their best.The sandwich wasn't too fancy, but it was constructed well and tasted good. I don't think Stingers is a destination, in itself. I suspect it's just a nice neighborhood bar and grill which caters to a regular cast of characters. In general, it is neat and clean. It has the typical features: large screen TVs, neon signs, pool tables--and a shuffleboard table. And if you wanted something to eat while watching sports, the food is better than just okay.

Food is always consistent. Haven't had anything I didn't like. Only downside is sometimes the parking lot gets packed.

I continue to love my experience at Stringers. Great food options, I find myself enjoying the people very visit, especially the owners and staff. It really is welcoming to everyone. The many TVs is great for people that like many sports or shows.

Chris the bartender was so accommodating. I'm new to sac and he was so kind and made me feel so safe and comfortable. If you're looking for a fun, chill vibe this is the place.

The bartender here, Chris, likes to add drinks to your tab that you did not buy! He likes to gaslight women and tell them they don't remember how much they had to drink as that is his way of bringing in more money for this dump! Totally rude dude and I have heard other complaints that he has done the same to other people! WILL NOT visit this terrible bar again! Such a bad experience.. stay away unless you like to be gaslit by an arrogant bartender! NO STARS! Yelp needs to add negative stars! HD to add one star but please note it's a negative star!

Chris was an absolute PLEASURE. He made me feel welcome as soon as I came in the door. Between the great conversation and drinks, I'm definitely coming back. A calm and relaxing night in the bar to decompress after a long day. Thank you, Chris !

Everytime I walk into this place i feel like family. Chris and Gio are always so welcoming.

Great service, my guy Chris came through with an amazing jager bomb aka dozer. Definitely coming back next time I'm up in Sacramento. @Trisha i don't think your comment was realistic, we all get a little too drunk and forget what we order. Saying someone gaslights you is completely false. Alcohol messes up our memory once and while. Definitely come check out this awesome spot. Great vibes and a great atmosphere, pool table and tvs made a great ambiance!

It's been a while since I've been there, but hopfully they don't have this bartender anymore. Ironically before I went, I saw a bad review on her but didn't think much about it because I've had good experiences there before. Anyway, when I went in for a drink I had the SAME experience as the earlier woman that posted! I walked in, the bartender was talking to someone else. No, "hi," nothing. I ordered a beer, she sets it down and STILL says nothing. Who in the hell hires these people!

They have really good coffee, the service was also great... I will be back in the near future to have a meal since I only stoped by to check it out.
