Really terrible meatball sub. Burned and dried out meatballs. Bun burnt. No sauce. No parmesan. Wow just terrible. Huge let down for $17!

Outstanding, above and beyond your normal pizzeria. Must check these guys out!Saw this place on a different site, decided to come and check it out; They have a lunch buffet, which, with better planning, I would've ate that and came back later for dinner. Restaurant was fairly empty inside when I arrived just after noon, with a section blocked off for a large party coming in at 5. Service was fast, cashier was friendly and patient. Ordered a Medium El Dorado Pizza (I originally intended to eat later) - and a Philly Cheesesteak.Opening the Philly cheesesteak box and looking down at it I was a little skeptical at first, but MMAANN, where do I startPhilly cheesesteak didn't look like it was cut, but tore right down the middle very easily as if the inside was cut before putting it together (beautiful). Every bite was flavorful, the right amount of sauce/cheese/meats/pepper, everything! Phenomenal!El Dorado Pizza, was a unique flavor that took me a bite or two to understand, but also very flavorful, savory, and unique. Shout out to whoever curated this dish, it is next level.

Just wanted to add a few photos to update my review. Always fresh toppings and well-baked. Pepperoni is a bit spicy just so you know. They're pretty quick with getting orders completed unless there's a large party or it's Friday or Saturday. Worth the wait! Lots of TVs going and conversations going on when it's busy,

We had dinner at Steve's Pizza, and I have to say their gluten-free pizza is one of the best I've ever tasted. My husband has a gluten allergy, so finding great gluten-free options is a priority for us, and Steve's Pizza did not disappoint!

Went here tonight for my husband's birthday with family. Never had Steve's pizza before. It's located in a very nice shopping center and the inside is pretty normal for a pizza restaurant, and it has an extra large room to dine when things get crowded. They have a great selection of craft brews (mostly IPA's--which is standard everywhere now because they are poplar and big sellers), but I was able to try a DELISH and Ultra smooth wheat beer that had a slight peach flavor to it. Best beer I've had in a long time! The pizzas we ordered were really good, had plenty of toppings, and the jalapeño cheese breadsticks were bomb! I really like their pizza crust! My step granddaughter really liked her hamburger, too.The staff was nice, patient, and prompt! I'd come back here in a heartbeat!

Visited this place because we were given a gift card as a welcome to EDH. Let me start with the positive. The wings had a really good flavor and were cooked well and we enjoyed them. Best part of the experience. The salad was good and fresh and also a positive. Now for the not so good. The service. As we ordered and as we asked for utensils we were looked at like, "are you serious? Ugh. I don't want to work here but I have to" attitude and facial expressions. I would say to the point almost unprofessional. We walked in a bit about 1:45pm and there was dirty plates all over the place and food on tables. Probably the worst we have experienced in EDH as far as service and as far as cleanliness. The ambiance was restaurant\bar\or hangout to watch a game ambiance. I would say, since I live in the area will probably only be back for the wings but hoping the service is much better.

This Steve's Pizza is a local neighborhood pizza place in El Dorado Hills (EDH), CA. It's casual counter service place. What this place has going for is its huge selection of local beers on tap, neighborhood location, family friendly atmosphere, mini game room arcade for the kids, multiple TVs set to sports for the adults, outdoor patio and decent eats. All of that makes for a solid go to local hang out. Don't be surprised to walk in and see a rambunctious kids birthday party or team league gatherings in the side dining room (kids running amok hopped up on pizza and soda), it can be a lively place. Family friendly fun indeed! The pizzas are tasty. Not bad at all. They're oven baked. For the thickness of the regular crust pizza, I would have preferred more sauce than what it had. I like my pizza saucy. But that's just a matter of preference. Because if you ask my husband, he'll say no extra sauce is needed. Plus if the regular crust is not to your preferred thickness, there is a thin crust option. If you're a local, check your snail mail for coupons.

Ordered an all meat thin crust pizza online. Got there and pizza was ready on time. Plenty of toppings, good sauce, and the crust had a good crunch. This was an excellent pizza and I would recommend. Look forward to trying other combinations in the future.

1st time here and Service absolutely horrible. No one to serve or wait on beer at the bar. Line is long and only one cashier during peak hours. If you want to pay, you have to get up at the bar and run your card at the cashier, huh? Haven't had the pizza yet; jury is still out.

Service at the counter was pleasant. "One-pass" (meaning not unlimited) salad bar was decent. Decent booze menu. However, it did not make up for the hot food that was juuusssttt awful. Meatball sub featured old, burnt meatballs. Big partially-cooked raw-ish onion and bell pepper slices, where one might have hoped to find them well grilled and caramelized. Literally zero mozzarella and instead, a thin pass of cheaply sprinkled Parmesan. The garlic bread upon which it was served wasn't the freshest. Lifted up one side of the sandwich to find a hair underneath!!! But the most frustrating piece of this culinary disaster was that the sandwich (15.99) and side salad (4.99) were a combined TWENTY ONE DOLLARS. Let that value sink in. For a weeknight sub sandwich. At a pizza joint with kids running around. Overall, the prices snd upcharges for every little thing are ridiculous, even by EDH standards. The pizza was mediocre and the wings were nothing to write home about either. Ambience wasn't amazing, just a big main room, and a smaller "arcade" off to the side with a single arcade game from 1999, and a bunch of machines selling infuriatingly cheap Chinatown trinkets and a crane game (no, it didn't help that a toy was retrieved but then released back just before a winning delivery - but cranes are all rigged anyway). Should someone have bothered to stop by and ask "how is everything," it would have been just too much to list off. With all due respect, I expect a $21 sandwich to be ordered at the table, served on a tablecloth, and cooked to perfect.
