Excelling in seafood and sides, but falls short on steak execution, Station 16 delivers on seafood quality with some standout dishes and misses the mark with drinks. As a New Yorker from Long Island, I've had my fair share of calamari and this calamari showcased great brine and preparation. The lobster mac was equally impressive, offering a rich and decadent flavor, but lacked a generous amount of lobster. Their two types of oysters were fresh, but the shucking needed significant work, which took away from the overall experience. The biggest disappointment was the steak, which was unevenly cooked and overdone in certain areas, making it less enjoyable. However, the Cajun garlic fries were outstanding -- fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and seasoned to perfection.

Went here for an office holiday dinner, and it was a great experience overall! We booked a reservation online, and when we arrived, they had a nice seating spot ready for us. Our server was friendly but seemed like she might've been new to the job. The food took a little while, but everything was delicious! We got lucky and came during happy hour, so all the appetizers were discounted, which was a nice bonus. Here's what we tried:- Shrimp ceviche: fresh and flavorful, but the portion was on the small side.- Calamari: warm, crispy, and perfectly cooked.- Cajun Garlic Fries: crispy with a good kick, not overly oily.- Cajun Pasta: Loved this one! It had a decent amount of sausage, and the sauce was amazing!!- Lava Cake: the filling wasn't very runny, and the texture was a bit chalky. But the vanilla ice cream on top was good.- Shrimp Crostini: nice flavor but too crunchy. - Apple Pie: warm and delicious.- The Pan-Seared Scallops and Shrimp Scampi were both hits, and while the skillets were good, they were a bit messy.

Visited on Saturday 1/11/25 Lunch Time.1. Handicap Accessible. My son is in a power wheelchair. It's a large restaurant so there is plenty of room for him to maneuver. Staff was very accommodating in making sure we had a table to fit his needs.2. Facilities: Restaurant and bathroom are very clean.3. Service. All staff is approachable, attentive and helpful.4. Great selection of food, (particularly seafood to choose from). I enjoyed a Cajun Crab Benedict. Crab was very tasty, and the Hollandaise sauce really adds to the flavor. A little too much arugula but that's more of a personal preference, so if that's not your thing, just have them hold it. Otherwise, its a fantastic dish. For Desert, I had the chocolate chip cookie with milk. It came out warm and soft with just the right amount of chocolate chips.5. Located in downtown area, but there is a parking garage literally located right next to the restaurant. This is fantastic place for any occasion whether brunch or drinks. There is a bar at the center of the restaurant.. Great place to bring the family or meet up with friends. The seafood and alcohol selection is what separates this place from other breakfast restaurants. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic evening at this chic and cozy spot. When we went, Station 16 had a dimly lit ambiance that created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed night out!! We went near Christmas time--and the space was decorated with multiple Christmas trees! The setting was ideal for a leisurely dinner with a friend. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which was creamy, rich, and full of flavor. For the main course, the burgers were perfectly cooked--juicy, flavorful, and paired with delicious toppings and seasoned fries. The service was also friendly and attentive, and we stayed for hours, enjoying both the food and the welcoming atmosphere. It was a memorable night, and I'm already looking forward to returning :)

Came here for the first time for a work holiday dinner and was excited because I love good seafood! We got some starters and happened to have gone during their happy hour where they have $4 off apps. The ceviche wasn't the best because it seemed super overpriced for what we got. It had maybe 5 tiny pieces of shrimp. I got the cajun pasta for my main entree because it was highly recommended and I requested extra prawns. The portion was amazing and came with so much sausage. It has a bit of a spicy kick but not too overwhelming. Lastly, for dessert I got to try the apple pie and it was amazing! 10/10. Service was pretty good. Our waitress was friendly and super helpful with questions and checking up on us frequently. The place was nicely decorated for the holidays and had a nice vibe, but I would say the bathroom could have been a bit more clean. Street parking only I believe but I didn't have trouble finding any on a Friday night.I would definitely come back to try the other dishes like the skillets and maybe even check out the new elk grove location!

What a gem of a find! The plan was to go to Station 16 for dinner, and see a local play afterwards. The timing didn't work out, and brunch was the new agenda item. Just wow! I was not expecting so much goodness. The staff is great... actually beyond great. Our server (Julissa) was truly the best. Perfect and timely service. She was personable, engaging, and sweet as pie. It's rare these days to have this level of service. She made wonderful recommendations, and was spot on. Let's talk food... damn delicious, is all that needs to be said. The pancakes... light, fluffy, and the seasonal peach compote was killer. You must try it when it rotates back on the menu. It's a not miss. It was like eating peach cobbler that your grandmother made, and refused to share the recipe. The biscuits and sausage gravy is sinfully delectable. The south has risen in Sacramento folks! I loathe when biscuits are hard, tasteless, and give you that belly bomb that makes you regret your food choices. THIS was delectable. The biscuits were fluffy, and the gravy was mmmm, mmmm, good. The big pieces of sausage make this gravy stand out above all others. Perfectly seasoned, scrumptious, that you'll want to lick the plate. Go ahead, I won't tell. This is a hidden brunch spot. Don't let it be! Great service, great food, and a great place!

Came on a Friday night and got seated right away. We ordered the lobster and shrimp plate and they were nicely seasoned with all the fixings sauce. The shrimp was tender and the lobster tail was a good size. I enjoyed the fries with the garlic clams and the sauce was light and not overpowering. Definitely satisfied my seafood craving.

We came here with a group of six. They were going to try and squeeze us in a booth. We asked if we could be at a table instead for comfort. They were great and moved us to a large round table. The server was super friendly and took our drink order right away. She gave great recommendations on food too. We ordered a bunch of items and no one was disappointed. They have great seafood and some of us had dishes with seafood. Overall a wonderful experience and I'd go back.
