I love them. They are right up the street. They greet me in ask me about my son, always stop to help when I'm ready. Sometimes I'm in there for hours just staring and trying to choose what hair I want , they don't say nothing they just let me have my internal battle to myself without making me feel weird or hovering around me. They are all educated on black hair and they are respectful of black culture.

I usually come here for majority of my hair supplies. staff is always helpful and greets me as I walk in. the only issue is the hours. Online it says they're open until 8pm, I arrived at 7:38PM & the doors were locked .. a staff member said they were closed, I told him it wasn't 8 o'clock yet. He said they close at 7:30. Maybe they should update their hours so people won't waste their time!

This is an ok beauty supply store. The selves are always stocked. It's always clean. They sale a variety of beauty items along with wigs.The staff is pretty cool and their very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. I come here whenever I need certain items, like grease or hair color. They rarely ever disappoint.They have a lot of nice wigs and all kinds of girly items from earrings to hats to make-up ect. It's a cool store to walk around in and just look. Never know what you might find and their prices are not bad.We have been coming here for a long time. They are located pretty close to the Wal Mart super center and Sears on Florin Rd. Parking is limited because of where they are, they are right on the corner, but I've never had any problems finding a spot.I like this beauty store, considering there are so many of them out here to choose from. It's not my only one I shop at, but I'm cool with this one. Never had any problems with service or the staff.

The people are nice and they have somewhat a variety there prices are to much but whatever.. and they watch you way to much like I have money no need to steal !

Went there to buy some wigs for my sister who is going through chemotherapy. I found them here on yelp based on wigs photos they have posted and sure they do have plenty of choices when it comes to wigs! You want human hair, like human hair or synthetic hair? You name it they have it! I ended up buying 2 wigs and cute little asian girl ( Sabrina i think her name is) who helped me was so helpful. She knows about her products she is selling so that made it easy for me to choose. Definitely will come back for more wigs for sure! They do have extention hairs, braids, hair for weaving, hair products and much more!

This place deserves NO STARS. The manager was rude! Yelled at me. He was on the phone and I stood there waiting for him to acknowledge me. I had never been in this store before. He yells I'M ON THE PHONE!! He yells at the customer! Really? I told him how rude he was. Then he told me they would not serve me. Told the cashier not to serve me. There were two other customers that heard the conversation. One had been with them for 15 years. She told them if you are not serving her I won't come here anymore. We all left. THEY DO NOT RESPECT THE CUSTOMER! Go to another beauty supply.

i bought a human hair halo extension a week ago for an event today, and it is shedding horribly. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this hair, and for me spending over $100 i was expecting way more. This is my 5th time buying a human hair extension from star beauty because they all do the same thing, they shed and look like crap after 2 wears. i don't even apply heat on them and the still look horrible. my $15 amazon ones look better. major rip off.

If it wasn't for the owner being super nice and helping me out I would give this store 1 star. But the girls that work here are so rude for no reason they roll their eyes at every one and sit behind the counter and won't help you.

I don't expect much of customer service from beauty supply stores. Some are nice and some are dicks. This one seem cool and chill. Anyways, they have most of what I need and seem to be better in price. Good selection of things. Fun to go into and see what they have. Although , hours open @9:30 but they were 10-15 min late . But, it's cool I get it
