Your Southern comfort go to in Sacramento. I come for the fried green tomatoes and biscuits and gravy- Just like grandmas. We have yet to try their lunch option. Service is stellar, with plenty of check backs from your server and always friendly. The menu is huge and offers items that are rarely found. From frog legs, catfish, trout and oxtail to assorted flavors of grits. Their buttermilk pancakes are delish. We like to order a side pancake of their daily specialty flavor. If the exotic choices make you squeamish, don't worry! Their menu also has all the regular breakfast options. Housed in an iconic style A frame, with country lodge feeling inside, it's very homey. I always enjoy the paintings that surround the dining room of old stagecoach scenes. Bring your appetite! Servings are generous. We downsize to a smaller version and still leave stuffed.

I haven't eaten here in years and years. I was in the neighborhood, so I decided to stop by. Parking is at a premium. It was 9:30 AM on a Wednesday, and I had to park all the way in the back of the building. I can imagine what it's like on the weekends. The place is clean, and everyone was friendly. I like the western theme inside. The main dining room is kind of small, but they also have a counter, a back dining room, and outdoor seating as well. Breakfast ranges from the usual pancakes and egg dishes, to some serious comfort and stick to your ribs food. I had the trout and eggs, with the fried grits and molasses, and a biscuit for my bread. The food came quick, and oh... My... God, that was a humongous plate of food! She asked me if I wanted tartar sauce, or remoulade with my trout, I asked for the remoulade , but she must've misunderstood me, because it never came. That was quite all right, though. . The trout was tender and delicious by itself. The eggs were not overdone, so they were perfect to dip the trout in. I had never even heard of fried grits, let alone tried them, and they were delicious. They were crispy/crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. The molasses just added to the great flavor. There were three giant bricks of the fried grits, I ended up taking two of them home. They reheated fantastically in my air fryer. The biscuit was fluffy and delicious, the coffee was great and they kept my cup full. The trout was on the higher priced end of the menu, but it was worth every penny for the quality and quantity of the food. I would come back just for that, but I also want to try other things here too. Thanks for a great meal!!

Stagecoach is by Florin Road in Sacramento. My brother ordered Chicken Fried Boneless Chops with eggs, Jessica got a breakfast set in the restaurant, and I tried the omelette with ground beef, mushrooms, onions, and cheddar cheese. Me, Jessica, and my brother went there for breakfast before going to work.

An absolute staple for breakfast in our neighborhood. They have a variety of food to choose from, staff are always nice and friendly, and the food comes out quick! Definitely recommend their homemade corned beef and hash, their French toast, and their omelettes! With a strawberry lemonade to wash it all down

While in Sac for a family function, we decided to take our adult kids to an iconic spot. The service was great and food came out hot and fresh. The wings were seasoned well and nice and crispy. Chicken fried steak was also prepared well The grits were a bit too thick and by the time our extra butter arrived, they were cold. The oxtails had too much sauce on them for my liking and could've been a little more tender. The kids can now say they've been to 'Stagecoach'.

South Sac's greatest!! I treated my mom to brunch at Stagecoach for Mother's Day! My mom loves this place. I love the old Western feel of the restaurant. The staff were so kind and all smiles. Our server, Maddy, was nice and patient with answering our questions about the menu. It was breezy outside at the time when we went to eat, so, we decided to enjoy eating on the veranda. I ordered the partner #1 breakfast: country fried chicken, eggs, and butter grits, and my choice of side was a biscuit, I asked for gravy. My mom ordered country fried pork chops, rice with gravy, toasts, and french fries. We loved every bite of our meal! And had plenty for left overs to take home. I ordered their strawberry lemonade....which was soooooo good. Strawberry puree is included and tasted so fresh....I'm pretty sure it's made in house! Thanks Stagecoach for the great grub and friendly service! I look forward to return soon! :)

The staff is always quick to see you, provide great service and tasty food. The ambience is nice and intimate, old-fashioned and cowboy style. Hence, the name stagecoach. They have a wide variety of breakfast items and a few lunch items. Almost salsa Burger, to frog legs and meatloaf. Make sure to check them out if you're reading this just go!

Food was amazing so fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent and my cup of coffee was never empty or cold. When we parked, it looked like a little hole in the wall, but it's actually pretty big inside and they also have a covered patio. The Braised Ox tails were delicious and my Country Fried steak was cooked to perfection.
