SpiderMonkey’s Dessert Studio

Finally got to try these yummy beignets! Definitely not disappointed. Menu was great, but went with the Classic and Cinnamon Sugar mini beignets. These were fresh out of the oil, and the whipped cream wasssss so good! Ordering was quick and easy, I used the tablet to place my complete my order. Luckily there was not too many people, so my order came out fresh and quick.

I don't frequent Arden mall at all. However, after a return to an only area store shop. I stumbled upon Spider monkey's and I so love deserts. I must say this was an experience that will stay in my mind for a very long time. The beignets were made fresh right in front of me. They were warm and tasty ever so delicious they also have other flavors. The beignet came with a whip cream on the side that was so creamy and delectable. An added plus I happened to log into yelp and they offered a free cookie, after I had already ordered two so it was nice to get three cookies for the price of two. I had a brief conversation with whom I think was the owner of the business and told her these look amazing and I wished her business was closer to the outer areas of Sacramento And maybe she should even sell her beignets to Costco someday. Just a thought. If you haven't tried this place I recommend trying as soon as possible.You will not be disappointed.

Service 3.5/5 due to only one person there only handling taking order, prep and serve.Dessert is 5/5 super fresh, enough sweetness and crisp. Not doughy.Ambiance ?/5 it's inside the mall so you tell me when you go. lol The dessert is enough for two unless you just want to be a greedy foodie. Love the way is delivered to me not squished. Definitely look them up when you're inside Arden Mall and wanting a sweet treat. They are next door to Jamba Juice, just FYI. Also, you can choose up to one flavor. Sorry no menu because I was way too excited to try these

Piping Hot Beignets [Sacramento CA]I have been wanting to try SpiderMonkey for a while now and I finally had a chance to. The menu had a lot of options. Since I loved the beignets from Cafe du Monde in NOLA I ordered the Classic Beignets (2 standard) to try. These little squares of fluffy goodness was served piping hot and are okay, not as pillowy soft as the ones I remembered having at the iconic cafe... and the powdered sugar was a bit too generous on the beignets.Service was pleasant and friendly. Check-in Yelp to redeem a free cookie. The Snow Brownie Cookie was absolutely delicious! SpiderMonkey has a storefront located at the Arden Fair mall in Sacramento. I was in the mood for something sweet during a quick trip to the mall. I was excited to try this since there aren't many local places that make beignets.Customer service was on point, super friendly, & provided answers to questions about the menu & ingredients.Overall the beignets tasted & texturally like donuts. They were very dense & heavy, which I was hoping for something light & airy when it comes to a traditional beignet. For the price point & the quality, I wouldn't recommend them.

I love beignets and sadly these are not the best. Whenever o get beignets here, they're always doughy and nearly burnt on the edges. I don't recommend the mini beignets either because those are even more crunchy. I often get the banana cream pie beignets. One time they gave me the greenest banana with mine! It was far too ripe. I would have preferred no banana at all if that was all they had. Or I would have ordered the classic Beignets if their bananas were not ripe. Customer service is generally good here. I depends on who is working. I feel like I always see different workers there each time that I've gone.

If you want a true authentic Beignet this is the spot. A cute hole In the wall bakery in Arden mall. The owner is very friendly and learned how to make these in New Orleans. Ive been to Louisiana a few times so you know I had questions regarding the authenticity. They are cooked right there in front of you and come out hot and perfect. We will definitely be back

Spider monkeys dessert studio is located in Arden fair mall you step in the mall door and boom it's right there, their area was very clean and the young lady at the front was sweet , service was quick and the beignet was so warm and chocolaty the vibe was mellow I enjoy this place and I think you would as well .

Location is closed and is now being leased by another POC Woman-owned business called Dipped, originally from the Bay Area. Loved SpiderMonkey, always kind and pretty good beignets. Don't know what happened to them but hopefully they resurface elsewhere.
