Southfork 1848 Eatery and Bakeshop

I'm awful sorry, but I can not in good conscience recommend this local business.It literally takes 45 (not four to five, forty five minutes) for a breakfast sandwich, a toasted bagel with butter and coffee. I've been here twice and I'm all for local, but not about bad service. Am I missing something?Hey, support local. Have your friend make a cup of coffee.But take your time here...

A group of us make a yearly trek to Apple Hill and Sutter Creek on Nevada Day weekend to stock up on wine. This year two of us were ahead of the rest and decided to grab a late breakfast in this quaint roadside bakery/cafe. We did almost miss it, the signage isn't very big or noticeable. But fine have a large parking, as it sits in a small older strip mall. Order at the counter and staff brings it to you as it is prepared fresh. A variety of coffee drinks, pastries, and cookies. They also have a limited menu for breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

Hangtown fry burrito really hit the spot. Came here after seeing Facebook post in Pollock Pines Chat group. Delicious. Got a muffin to go. Very nice establishment and friendly efficient service. Love the cafe ambience. Very relaxing. Will be back for coffee in the morning!

The food is delicious with large quantities. Everything is made in house and with quality products. Love eating there.

Fantastic sandwiches! Big & Flavorful & FreshHighly recommend the Caprese grilled cheese, and the cold cut sandwich. That cold cut sandwich has an awesome olive tapenade on it for added flavor! And the ladies are Very friendly and helpful. We'll return often.

Delicious baked goods made on site, including muffins, 7 Wonder bars, cinnamon rolls, carrot cake so many things to choose from! Breakfast burritos, sandwiches, coffees, wow!And there's Taco Tuesdays at night. Rustic decor with local charm.Eat in or get it to go.Great place!

Outstanding food and service at Southfork 1848 Eatery and Bakery today. The omelets were the special. My wife had a vegetable omelet with ham and sweet potatoes, and I had a bacon and avocado omelet with country potatoes. There are leftovers for tomorrow.

Highly recommend this place. Food was great I got the hangtown fry burrito, the service was great very nice lady behind the table and very quick to get our food. The ambiance is super friendly cozy little shop.

Pretty decent food, had two breakfast sandwiches and a latte. There aren't a lot of good options in the area - so I would highly recommend getting your day started at Southfork

First, the quality was good. However, I thought $11 for a baked muffin and a plain coffee was too expensive.I saw no posted prices so I don't know what cost what. The muffin was gluten-free, which may have contributed to the costliness, but I don't need GF so I don't want to pay extra for it. I hope they rethink those prices.
