South Fork Grille El Dorado Hills

My wife and I took a walk around Town Center Plaza and happen to walk by South Fork Grille. The employees were very happy and accommodating. I assumed this was a new restaurant because of the smiles and willingness to make your dining experience an enjoyable one.We were very surprised to hear they have been her for awhile and that this how they greet and treat all their customers. We had Bobby as our server. He is an awesome person who made us feel welcome from the time we sat until we closed our bill. He is a genuine person who I feel loves his job. He treated us with a warm smile and amazing service! He checking us often and made us feel comfortable as if we were guests in his own home. We had brunch at another place but were disappointed we didn't know about South Fork Grille beforehand so we opted for the bottle service of mimosas. My wife was so happy with our experience we called the Manager Drew to acknowledge Bobby. Drew seemed open to feedback good or bad. This feedback happened to be a good one! This establishment is a great place for food, drinks. and just to hang out and have a good time. Oh!!!! We did have tempura sushi rolls and popcorn shrimp that tasted amazing!!

Pros- FOOD!!! Every dish looked amazing and was very enjoyable. We started with Pork Belly Skewers. Followed by Hawaiian Spiced Ahi Tuna and pan Sheared Halibut. Presentation of both main courses were very impressive. We had a Margarita off the drink menu, called the Troublemaker Dragon Margarita--a refreshing treat. Closed the menu with Crème Brulé which light and not too sweet. The service was very good but a touch eager to clear the table while we were not quite finished once. Fairly large and clean restaurant, nicely decorated with outside seating. Noice level was very reasonable Also lots of parking available Cons- honestly noneGreat place for a date night!!!

It was fine. The restaurant is beautifully designed, but the noise level is way too high--odd for a place that looks this refined.The food was okay--very salt-forward, with small portions. The glazed beef dish was extremely sweet and surprisingly chewy.The staff was kind, the ambiance was lovely, and the drinks were very reasonably priced. (The drinks. Not the food.)

this was our first time trying south fork grille, and we really enjoyed our visit. we started with the cornbread skillet, which was a solid first choice. the honey butter that comes with it is to die for. we ordered the lower haystacks campfire sling, perfect for the old fashioned lover in your life. we then got our entrees; miso marinated chilean sea bass and the porterhouse pork chop. the seabass was cooked perfectly, and the broth that is served with it just enhances the flavor. the pork chop was fairly moist! the mashed sweet potatoes were DIVINE, and the brussels sprouts were absolutely delicious. we had great attentive service; from the greeting of our hostess to the wait staff. everyone was very kind and friendly! tons of parking in a lot nearby. the most dreamy outdoor seating setup for the warmer nights. overall a lovely spot to dine and catch up with friends or for date night!

The food, service, and environment were very good. We had a couple of brunch items, blackened salmon, and butternut squash raviolis. Also, the pork belly skewers and salmon sushi rolls. I would return.

We came back for brunch and they did not disappoint. We got there pretty early so there was no wait. We were offered in door or out door. Since the weather is finally normal we sat outside and it was perfect. We did have our 3yo with us. She was given a kids menu with crayons, so thoughtful.Micheal took amazing care of us. We ordered the Pastrami Hash, pastrami Benedict, gallo pico, and the buffalo cauliflower. Everything was so tasty but the service was the standout. Micheal was always ready with refills and was so nice. So if you're looking for brunch outdoors for a date or a group, cmon down!

They have amazing food and great service. I highly recommend the steak. The sauce it comes with is absolutely fantastic!

Restaurant is run well. Beautiful bar area and drinks are really good. Service was excellent and staff is super friendly. Have eaten here several times and come to hang at the bar after work. Always a great experience.
