Soil Born Farms is back to being open to the public in 2023 on Saturdays mornings and for educational events on other days.On Saturday morning, you can come and shop at their organic vegetable and fruit market, their inside market with fresh bread offerings from Camino Bakery out of Chico California, as well as many other items. They have a demonstration garden which includes chickens for kids to visit. Finally, on Saturday mornings from 830 to 1 PM, they have coffee, tea and other drinks as well as pastries and a featured salad available to eat on site. Many shaded areas to sit. They had misters for when it's a bit hotter. A great place for friends to meet up and many families with children were their enjoying the farm and all its offerings.

A hidden gem in Rancho Cordova! It's my favorite place to go for a sweet treat from their cafe and with live music and a beautiful garden, it's easy to spend the whole morning at the farm. I highly recommend the seasonal cobbler bar, each week there is a different flavor based on what's in season. All staff are friendly and knowledgeable, I love getting my veggie starts from the nursery in the spring. Check out the farm stand for fun gifts, veggies and food.

This is an urban hippy's paradise. I liked the place a lot.Plenty of parking, but can get a bit hairy if you're there on an event day. They offer classes and various vendors are out - Organic products and food. They also have a fire pit where you can hang out around and enjoy their vegan pastries. Their banana nut vegan muffin was delish! My girlfriend and I went on a whim to check it out. Tons of stuff to do with your kids. Loads of plants to look through. Their farmer's stand was actually on the small side, so we didn't do a whole lot of shopping. I think maybe I want to head back later in the spring to see what they have. Cool spot for kids. Not that big though, I was certainly thinking it was going to be a lot larger with more things to explore.

Fun family day at Soil Born Farms, $5 entry fee for adults, included loads of music, plant sales, food stands and old-time, gentle fun for little kids. The UC Extension master gardeners had a booth and offered loads of info and coaching, including how to make kombucha. Presentations on cooking, raising chickens and more. Free parking, portable toilets, helpful folks all around.

This place is awesome. I was looking for a spot where I could sit down, look around, and have a coffee. Soil Born Farms did not disappoint. You can buy a coffee and sit and listen to the live music outdoors while looking at their lovely farm. Once done, you can walk along their trails and check out the rest of the place. They have a farmstand, where you can buy fresh produce, trees and plants, and different things for your home. BTW, the people here are super friendly. Definitely check this place out.
