I've been wanting to check this place out for sometime now. I finally got to a few weeks ago after work. Hidden in the alleyway it was slightly difficult to find. Going in I was welcomed by the owner. He gave me a few suggestions on what to order. I decided to go with the garlic pork. It was tender and flavorful. I definitely want to go back and try their other items off the menu.

HOW TO FIND THIS RESTAURANT: FindBarber Zone on 28th Street and go down the alley to the right of Barber Zone and you'll find Soi Alley Eats on the right side :) Such a pleasant vibe here; outdoor seating in a garden setting, friendly service (not fast lol), and good food!

This place is a joke! This is the second time we went there & they failed us. First attempt before heading there we went onto Yelp and they said they were open. The address was also incorrect, got us going into the tattoo shop to ask for directions. When we arrived, there was a sign that said they were closed because they are selling at the State Fair. So okay, let's give them another try. So today was the day. Before we went, we called first. A woman answered which then I asked if they are open today? She responded "Yes we are, but we are running a little behind so at 12 or rather 12:30 we will be open". We were excited. So when we arrived at 12:30pm, we saw customers in there occupying about 4 tables, still plenty of room and space and we noticed a sign that said that they are close today and will open Sunday 8/11/23. Kid you not we called! So we asked the customers that were waiting in there and one of them told us they are closed. What??? Confused and hangry and this point. So I decided to call back and why did they hung up the phone on me right away? This is not how you do business! All wrong! We were really disappointed!

Amazing new spot! Please note - the food took awhile to come out as they are in a "soft opening" phase with just one cook many days. This might not be the best place if you are in a rush. But if you want to hang out in the garden patio, sip on a Thai tea, and eat some delicious food -- then check this spot out!

The food was good. It reminded me of the times I went to my Lao friends house as a kid for parties.

This place is so amazing! The food is delicious and the pricing is fair. The owners are so sweet. When going to the place make sure you copy the address instead of letting yelp take you to maps or you may get lost. But overall, I had such an amazing experience here and have been coming back often since!

I was really excited to try this place out but when we got there is was closed so if you consider coming on a Sunday you might want to think twice. My family and I had to look for another place to go and this was 3pm. The hours of operation says they are open from 11am to 7pm.

FYI, the correct address is actually X St and Broadway Alley between 27th and 29th St. If you use the address off of the previous Yelp account, it's incorrect. The location is near Asha Urban Bath. For those of you that are not familiar with Asha, the location is near Smart and Final but across the street in the alley. Loved the food, service, and ambiance here. All the items we ordered were good, rather than just one or two. The food we tried was traditional (including their pepper sauce). Their theme is to have a rotating menu, though. Also, they will be closed for one month starting 7/7 to work the California State Fair and then will be back.
