Love the stellar service and ambience here. I've come loads and their seasonal menu always offers something exciting. Or, if you want a classic go for the tesora. Can't go wrong with it! I've worked from here, laughed from here, brought friends here and come alone. Spot is great on all accounts. Only thing is - prepare to wait in line and realize that the tables inside are competitive! If you have a big group come early.

Baffled by the positive reviews here.Firstly, if you truly care about quality, coffee at Temple or World Traveler is your best bet. Here it is awful.Secondly, paying $11 for breakfast tacos that amounted to purple cabbage is a jokeThere are much better offerings in Folsom

Gluten free muffin: under cooked. I only eat GF, the muffin tasted and appeared very underdone. After having a bite I asked them if they could take $6.50 (the cost of the muffin) off of my friends drink order. Both people working said "that's just how those muffins are." One of them asked if I wanted something else, but the only GF item they had was the muffin. I was just disappointed to be told that this was just how it was when I only eat GF. It wasn't great customer service. They knew it wasn't edible, I offered a solution, they wouldn't take it, so I threw $6.50 in the trash essentially. My friend also ordered a matcha latte, they were out of regular matcha and let her know she could have an alternate kind that was $2 more. In my mind, if you are out of it you should either mark the menu, or offer the alternative matcha at the same price. Music: so loud and not a good coffee shop vibe. They have a room that you can use if you're a member. I imagine more people would use it if the music didn't overflow into that room.

Stopped by for the first time after going to the Folsom farmers market. We got ice Matcha lattes with their homemade syrup. These were absolutely fantastic. I've tried a lot of Matcha in the area and this stands to be in our top five. There were lots of people in the coffee shop having breakfast or working. I think this would be a great place if you wanted to get out of the house while working from home. It's a cozy café that probably comfortably fits about 20 people.Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Folsom area.

Such a fun vibe here! Located at the corner end of a 3 story shopping lot, this spot was hard to find depending on which way you take. I was recommended this spot by another business when I mentioned I was craving coffee. I love how detailed the menu is and how customizable everything is. I ended up ordering the iced Tesora. It had cinnamon, honey, and vanilla. I was obsessed. It wasn't too strong but also wasn't too sweet. I also got their chicken pesto panito (like a panini and burrito). The pesto was super flavorful, and it came with a tangy sauce which I loved. There's a good amount of seating with some outdoor seating as well. Also great music! Definitely an upbeat trendy vibe.

So happy I found this place! Yummy drinks and delicious food items.I had to be in town for work and stopped here for coffee, breakfast and lunch both days!Their matcha is of quality and I can't wait to be back for their breakfast items! They have a delicious sourdough for their avo toast and turkey sandwich, which I dream about often. Also looks like a great place to get some work done as there is seating inside and outside. Staff were great and helped with recommendations too.

I have seen this place on Social Media and I even had a do worker mention it to me and I was excited to check it out. There is no parking lot for it so you have to park on the street or in the 2 hours max spaces around the back of the building it's part of. We were immediately greeted upon entering by a friendly face. We learned that there are no sugar free flavors and they only have oat as their alternative milk. Pay attention to the descriptions as some drinks are seasonal and some ONLY come iced. The inside is fairly small with limited seating but it's very funky and colorful. They have some cool mixology tools and mixes which is really different for a coffee shop but really interesting. I tried the teddy graham which basically tasted exactly like a smores! It came with a tiny strip waffle on top, so CUTE. Some of the flavors are really interesting and I will be back to try their manhattan spice coffee.

staff is rude, they don't heat up pastries, girl was wearing a "Jesus saves, find Jesus" shirt and wouldn't give a replacement for the terrible chai that tasted like pure sugar, the tacos say "microgreens" but are topped with cabbage. Bummer

In my opinion, the thing that makes any coffee spot great is its consistency. And that is one of many things Sociology offers Every. Single. Time. No matter who is making my drink or my panito I know it's going to taste the exact same. My latte won't taste burnt on a Monday but perfect on a Wednesday. It's always great! Now, one thing to know about Sociology is that it's not a cookie cutter coffee spot. They play RnB regardless of the hour. For me, I love hearing Marvin's room at 10am but I understand that's not for everyone. And if it's not for you, sit outside and you can still enjoy great coffee. If you want something different, something other than a minimalist industrial coffee shop that plays light jazz and has no soul, Sociology is IT. If not, there are PLENTY of those types of coffee shops available in Folsom for your liking.
