Fun time at this cute psychedelic coffee spot! Tried a few of their breakfast items and a pistachio matcha that was divine! It's a good size for a small gathering of friends or family. They also have a small bar in one of the corners (but I didn't get to try the cocktails).Right now it's decorated super cute for xmas!

I want to be able to give this place 5 stars, because it was so cute and the staff was so friendly. On a weekday afternoon, there was a friendly and attentive young kid working the register! He was so sweet. We ordered breakfast burritos and drinks. The breakfast burrito is made with sweet potato and comes with a crema. It was a large portion, but unfortunately, it just wasn't that great. Heavily loaded but not flavorful. My matcha latte was fine- no issues. Overall, our food pick just wasn't it, but I'd definitely come back to give it a second try!

A really cute spot!I got their strawberry lemonade and their breakfast burrito which ended up being $20. The burrito has sweet potato which was a pleasant surprise. The lemonade was super refreshing too. Everything tasted really fresh and made to order. It's a walk up and order type of dining but you're able to sit and eat there or take it to go. It took a little longer than I expected to get the food but I don't mind because the food did taste fresh. I recommend stopping by! Really fun vibe inside.

We ordered the Brie Happy Flatbread and the Cali Love Flatbread which were phenomenal. I have been here a couple of times and am so impressed by this place. The lemonades are also refreshing.

Ever since "Society Bistro" opened its doors back in June 2024, I finally had the opportunity to try this place out during the morning on Saturday 9/7/2024 at around 11:45am. It was advertised on Good Day Sacramento as well as a recent Yelp Elite event (that I was unable to attend) that took place in early-September 2024. This place was founded by owner Nubia Murillo (who also owns "Cap City Squeeze Juice Bar" next door) who decided it would be a great idea to open up not just a coffee shop but also a weekend brunch spot as well as a brunch, lunch and dinner spot (during various days of the week).Located at 1331 O St. and in between O and N St's in Downtown Sacramento, Society Bistro is only a couple blocks away from Capitol Park and the State Capitol building. I will advise anyone reading this that parking can be a bit challenging to find as everything in this part of the city is metered. But during my visit, I was able to park directly across the street without any issues. They do have generous business hours being open Monday-Thursday & Sundays from 8am-3pm and Friday/Saturday from 8am -8pm. The exterior signage is instantly recognizable with a blue awning and an amazing rainbow-colored mural along the wall. Additionally, there are about 4 outdoor patio tables with pink umbrellas for the more comfortable Sacramento days. However, the inside of the place is where this place really shines. The colors that are displayed here has a very funky retro look to it completed with a wall that uses dark green, orange, and pink that screams late-1970's. Which you combine the dozen or so mini disco balls, it really adds to the unique nostalgic look to it. There is also a dedicated "bar nook" that boasts the same dark green color throughout with fuzzy highchairs and feathered pink lights above. This place also surprisingly has ample seating throughout and during my visit, it did not feel cramped at all. I do want to point out that it does get loud so if you're looking for a quiet study/work area, this might not be the best spot to visit.During our visit (which was my lady and close friend), we all knew what we wanted prior to coming here. I went with the "B.A.E. Sando" which uses a soft potato bun complete with crispy smoked bacon, scrambled eggs, sliced avocados, and mixed greens. My lady went with their "Peach Waffle" complete with butter, homemade maple syrup, and an iced latte. And finally, our friend ordered their "Cali Love Flatbread" which included Grilled chicken, bacon, avocados, sun dried tomatoes, and cilantro lime crema sauce. All orders are placed at the register while they give you a number. The service here was quick, efficient, and took less than 10 minutes for our food to arrive at our table.I will say that my B.A.E. Sando was on point, filling, and absolutely delicious. It did not break the bank only being $10 for what ended up being quite a bit of food. Even our friend that ordered the flatbread was amazed just how much food they serve here. I can definitely tell that this business is doing a great job in offering delicious food at a reasonable price that is well-presented. All in all, "Society Bistro" is a business that I highly encouraging you check out. Great ideal location, positive customer service experience, and delicious food all under one roof. My rating, a unanimous five stars.

Very cute spot! Came here on a Tuesday and it was pretty crowded at lunch time. It is very close to the State Capitol. The coffee is good and the food is also yummy. Loved the breakfast tacos. The mimosas are tasty and love the unique flavors. They have separate menus for breakfast/lunch/dinner, coffee, drinks, happy hour. It was a little confusing as to what we could order and when. It was quickly cleared up though and the staff was very helpful. Would definitely come back!

AMAZING! Came during brunch hour and my experience was great. All the ladies are super friendly and welcoming. I decided on some breakfast tacos and they were awesome! Special thanks to Oriana for adding crema and more of that mango habanero sauce because they were perfection. Also, do not skip on the horchata latte (with oatmilk), it is soooo good. The place itself is super cute and has a nice retro vibe. The music is really good too. Such a cool spot to meet up with some friends or lunch break. Will be returning!

Society Bistro is THE new, hip coffee shop in Downtown Sacramento! But as my review will show, Society is much, much more than just a place that serves coffee...Located on O and 14th Street, Society Bistro replaced what used to be Wildflower Cafe, who closed down due to Covid ;(. It is just a couple blocks south of the State Capitol and next to CapCity Squeeze.I walk by here all the time and decided to finally give them a try last week. The COOLEST ambiance of any coffee shop I've EVER been to!!! Like WOW. Incredibly colorful with a lot of thought put into the interior! I was blown away by how much work they put in to make Society such a unique place! There's a bar in the back with a record player as well, which shows this location has versatility to be SO much more than just a coffee house. I could see Society Bistro hosting events at night time and crafting cocktails just as unique as their coffees!Staff inside were INCREDIBLY welcoming!! They let me take my time as I scoured over their drink menu. Even the way they write their drinks on their menus is unique! Society Bistro uses both chalkboards and "matinee"-like white backgrounds to show off their creations.I decided to order an iced horchata coffee with oat milk. DELICIOUS!! Flavorful!! And just the right amount of sweetness! I definitely got my "coffee-high" on (lol). My experience at Society Bistro was so much fun that I even brought my wife back a couple days later for brunch! We sat inside next to a screen door (it was the first day in Sac that it was actually nice out and not 1000 degrees). But they also have outdoor seating with pink umbrellas! We both ordered their Breakfast Bowls which came with scrambled eggs, savory sweet potato, black beans, spinach, picked onion, jalapeños, cheese, avocado, and a cilantro lime crema. BOMB. Sooooo good!! Even writing about it is making my mouth water... the perfect amount of food for a quick sit down meal. I'm all about EXPERIENCES these days and Society Bistro is definitely that! Like I mentioned at the beginning of my review, Society is MORE than just a cafe. This spot has POTENTIAL written all over it. Creative coffee drinks, food dishes, and alcoholic beverages?? With dope ambiance in an incredible, walkable location? I can't wait to see this place grow and thrive!!! I will be a Society Bistro regular!! A++++

If you're craving a blend of retro charm and modern flair, Society Bistro is the place to be! This 70s-inspired spot effortlessly combines nostalgia with a cool, contemporary edge. The vibrant retro decor, complete with disco balls galore, sets the perfect backdrop for an experience that feels like a time warp--only with better mimosas and spritzers.During a recent Yelp event, I had the chance to sample a variety of dishes, including the chicken/bacon/ranch pizza, Baja bowl, turkey burger sliders, pitaya bowl, and smoothie. My top picks were definitely the Baja bowl, the refreshing strawberry/pineapple/mint smoothie, and the vibrant pitaya bowl. While the pizza and sliders were decent, they didn't particularly stand out. The drinks, however, were another story! I went for a non-alcoholic herbal mocktail called Bliss, packed with ginseng, ginger beer, reishi mushroom, and rhodiola--definitely a hit.Given that this was a Yelp event, the service was understandably a bit hectic, but still attentive, and the owner was incredibly sweet and informative.Overall, Society Bistro is a must-visit for its atmosphere and inventive menu. Be sure to try the Baja bowl, and don't forget to snap a pic of your drink--they're super Instagram-worthy. I'll definitely be back!

Love how spacious this new coffee shop is! They have a full menu for breakfast/lunch/dinner and happy hour as well, but we came first thing in the morning for coffee. It's nicely decorated and thoughtful in every finishing touch, down to their pretty golden utensils and fun colorful pillows. The drink menu posted behind the counter has your standard coffee drinks. I had seen so many unique ones on Instagram though, then I saw the little chalkboard signs at the counter with different drink names. I'm guessing they rotate out or they're still testing ones out. I picked the horcha-cha latte with oat milk. It was so delicious! Super creamy and it wasn't too overpowering with cinnamon. My husband's coco loco latte had a nice cream on top of the drink as well. We also shared a chocolate chip muffin top with the kids and it was also yummy! Not too sweet and they served it on a cute little plate, all warmed up to perfection. Next time I'd love to try their brunch menu when we have more time! Definitely a great new addition to the Sacramento coffee scene!
