We fell in love hard and fast with Snooks. Their chocolates are so good and on top of that the staff is always so friendly and helpful. It truly makes it a fun experience to stop in.Snooks recently completed an addition to the shop which not only adds square space for chocolates on display and extra seating, but has also made it possible for a dark chocolate and milk chocolate production line at the same time. So no more missing out on your favorite treats!They have areas where you can watch them making the chocolates and if you're lucky they'll also offer you a sample- it's always so good!They have gift sets, chocolates, ice cream, coffee, and more. They also carry seasonal products around the holidays.My favorite items are the honeycomb candy, the toffee, their brittle, and the peppermint patties. I always try to pick up new items when I stop in though and everything is amazing.I also learned that this is a third generation, family run chocolate shop and you can really taste the love and care in their products!

Uuuummmmmmm hello! Snooks Chocolate Factory is basically a calorie bomb disguised as a whimsical candy shop, and I am here for it. The moment you walk in, the smell alone slaps you with at least 100 calories--don't fight it, just embrace it. If you're on a diet, consider this place your cheat day's final boss.We stopped by after lunch because, well, how could we not? I grabbed a homemade waffle cone loaded with cookies and cream ice cream (because moderation is overrated), and then snagged some caramels to take home. Spoiler alert: they didn't make it home. Everything here looks so divine that I'm convinced even their display cases are edible.The vibe? Think Willy Wonka meets your childhood dreams. You can even watch them make candy on-site--perfect for those of us who love chocolate and live entertainment. The staff is super friendly, probably because they're surrounded by sugar all day.Thank goodness this place isn't closer to my house, or I'd have to start a GoFundMe for larger pants. If you're in Old Folsom, do yourself a favor and stop by Snooks. Just don't blame me when you leave with a sugar high and zero self-control.

This wonderful chocolatier shop has been around here in Folsom for 61 years today. And since our family has been coming here the pass 25 plus years for us. But my Sis has been coming to Snooks since 1978. They live close by We all love the Chocolates here and we will always continue they also have Hot Chocolate with whip cream. Good ice cream, sundae's different candies gummies, hard candy. There is a room you can see when they work making chocolates and sweets. They even have a chocolates in Maui they are making there too a another shop with a top roof place on top to enjoy the sweets it a nice looking on the video in the tv. We had waited for a long time the line was at the ice cream side and we waited for awhile and it was busy for the holidays but not enough employees today It was busy. And when left more people were coming in. Be patient it's schools are out and people are coming in for sweets enjoy everyone these delicious chocolates and Ice Cream

We've been coming to Snooks for years since we've moved here. The service is top notch, the products are amazing, and the ambience is magical. Not only does it smell like warm sugary goodness as you enter, we have bumped into friends here quite a few times. And whenever we have visitors come to Folsom, we always make sure to include a gift card here! It's a big attraction!Whenever my kids want to go somewhere as a reward, Snooks is where it's at. We love Gunthar's ice cream, and the workers are generous with their scoops! You can never go wrong with the caramel corn, and the Ku'ia Dark Chocolates are delicious! The truffles and chocolate boxes have been a big hit for our extended family members too. Thanks, Snooks!!

Chocolate shop in Downtown Folsom! We stopped in while walking around I was hoping to find the viral Dubai chocolate. Sadly, they did not have it, but they did have lots of other options! Like truffles, caramels and even a whole wall of different gummies including my favorite type - 3D!They also sell Gunther's ice cream and my daughter wanted to try their Peach which was the perfect flavor to have while walking around. I liked that they had a table or 2 to sit at inside and enjoy your ice cream and whatnot. Service was also friendly. It wasn't the best chocolate shop that we've been to, but it's worth checking out for sure!

I used to come here as a kid with my dad. We lived right by sutter st and every weekend we'd walk down to get a scoop of ice cream and watch the chocolate be made. Every time I come here now it feels so nostalgic. This place has never changed and the workers are always so kind.

You haven't had good chocolate unless you've had Snook's chocolate! On a corner in historic Folsom, I brought my family here so they, too, could experience the absolute joy that is Snooks. My first taste was back in the '70's and I actually sold a camera for a 5 pound box of Snooks in the 80's. Today we purchased fudge, rockyroad and a few other single bite treats. I'm sorry we didn't get more because it's all gone! While we were there, the chocolatiers were busy making butter crunch. So fresh. So crunchy. Yuuummmm!Ice cream is available as well. But I came for the real deal. Now that my family are Snook fans too, I may not have to wait so long for really good chocolate.

I remember always going to Snooks a lot before I became a vegan, and now that I am, they have a variety of options, including their clusters with almonds dipped in dark chocolate, plus the coconut dipped in dark chocolate, and the dark chocolate peanut butter cups. I also got to have their oat milk latte with the cinnamon flavor and was very good. Overall, a nice place smack dab in the middle of Historic Folsom!

Love the ice cream and the choice to have sugar free chocolates. Snooks is located in the downtown area Folsom. It's in a great location because there are restaurants and there's an amphitheater with music. Sometimes, the parking isn't so bad if you get to your venue early, I will visit again when I am in the area. Snooks is a must go place if you are ever in Folsom.
