Slice of Old Sacramento

Not bad for a quick slice while in Old Sac. Nice people, clean and comfortable, and it I didn't have to cash in my 401k for a decent meal in a tourist area.

Service was amazing and the staff super friendly.But the food was a little in greasy side of pizza spectrum.Prices were higher than anywhere else but normal for a tourist location. Ambiance was great in a rainy Sunday.I may do this another day but not in soon future.

We needed a quick bite and our son requested pizza so we ended up here at Old Slice. We figured it would be a cheap and easy meal, but three slices still cost $23! I heard another customer complain about the price too. Prices are going up everywhere for everything so I get it, but also makes me cringe a little when I think about paying a fraction of that price over at Costco. The pizza was good, but nothing memorable either. I also was just a bit turned off by the customer service, she seemed so bothered by everyone. I'm sure she was just busy, but doesn't hurt to give a little smile or at least pretend you're happy to be there...

Used to come here all the time before 2022 and the service was always great. But I came today for the first time since and old faces are gone and the new management and service is terrible.

On my small visit to Sacramento, we checked out Old Town Sac and we had that pizza craving. It was nice to check out the food scene, as I'm not always in SacramentoWe went half chicken and half pepperoni. Pizza was heated nicely, and the cheese pull was wonderful. Service was good, and the indoor seating made it a comfortable visit. I'm a sunny day, ambiance is amazing, with families and plenty people ordering their slices

This is a nice pizza by the slice joint in Old Sac. It is a casual spot ideal to have a quick bite. The service was quick and the people are friendly. The pizza was very fresh and is NY style! I definitely recommend this spot while exploring Old Sac!

I get it, y'all. Like my fellow Yelp Elites have declared: this is the spot. Bar none. Fuggetabouit. We decided to stop here with our group of 6 before visiting the train museum. There was a group ahead of us, but we were able to find enough seating while I went to the counter to order the food. It's a small restaurant, but it doesn't feel crowded even when full. The counter was staffed by a very friendly young lady and another gentleman who apparently used to own the place, but sold it to the current owners. They were very patient as I went through the menu and tried to decide what would be best for our group. I ordered the appetizer of popcorn chicken, a large Mercke Meat pizza, 4 Martinelli apple juices and 2 Sprecher specialty sodas (Cherry Cola and Orange Dream). We were warned that it would take 20-25 minutes for the pizza to come out, but that didn't bother me. First came the popcorn chicken. It was hot and steamy and came with the side of bbq sauce I requested. The kids ate it too quickly for me to get a photo, but it was a nice amuse-bouche. Definitely something you could get in the grocery store, but cooked in a way that I definitely cannot replicate at home. The sodas were spectacular! They are sweetened with glucose and honey and I wish I could find them locally because they were quite refreshing. The pizza: Now I eat pizza everywhere I go. This place has everyone beat. The crust was thin, but not cracker thin. It had the perfect crispiness on the top. The sauce was fresh without being overwhelming, the cheese was gooey and stretchy and man that pepperoni had some kick! You can taste the flavor of each individual meat on the pizza. Even my kids said 6/5 stars because the pizza was so good. All in all it came out to about $56 with tax, but it was worth it!

Pretty good, I've only ordered their pizza by the slice. I like that it's not too thick and LOVE that the pepperoni slices are crispy. They warm up the slices once you order so it's nice and warm and crispy. The side garden salad is def very tiny for the price.Great option for a quick bite.

Rewriting my old review because another pizza shop in the area got mad I wrote multiple reviews all on one day, like you have to write it immediately or its invalid. Slice of Old is kind of hidden; that's probably why they don't have many reviews. IMO they're the best indie pizza place in the area! There's a good chain nearby if you like chain food, but if you like supporting independent shops like I try to do, this is your pizza shop. Prices are reasonable. Service is serviceable. Ambiance is ambianceable. ...er, I mean simple, clean, and quick. Their toppings are generous without being too much. Their crust is one of the best I had. I bet is this place pursued more press, they'd be a lot busier. If you're looking for a great place to grab a slice and soda, I'd go here. It's not a long walk to take it to the waterfront or grass if you're looking for a nice breeze.

I love me some Pizza !! After walking around Old Sacramento and having some cocktails with my girlfriend. We wanted a slice of pizza ! As soon as I seen Slice of Old Sacramento I had to try it . They have tables inside for for dine in and a few outside . Walking in this place they had lot of different drinks to purchase to go. Perfect for walking around in a hot day . They offer pizza by the slice and also whole pies. They have beer and wine to purchase when dining in. The staff was friendly and nice! I just got two slices of pizza to go. My girlfriend and I ate them while walking around to our next stop ! It was a good snack to have before our dinner later that day.
