Skipolini's

As I look, it's been a 2 and 1/2 years since my last review for Skipolini's in Roseville (or Rocklin), California. Of note, is that nothing has changed, in fact, it's gotten better. If you are looking for high quality, delicious tasting food, a FULL bar with amazing liquid medication, and excellent, friendly, professional customer service, this is the place! I am always grateful for the presentation as I conduct business lunch meetings there. However, they are great at Skipolini's anytime. Bartender / Servers Kara & Natasha (Tosh), along with there service counterparts and the manager, Manny, are always welcoming, attentive and fabulous. If it were possible to rate this restaurant and the people who work here as a 10 instead of a five, I would. Kara, Tosh, Manny, Victor, et al, thank you!

I'm writing this review regarding the banquet options and service offered by this establishment. We used Skipolini's for our high school graduate's friends & family dinner after the ceremony. We reserved our party several weeks ahead of time. The management staff was good about explaining the options and emailing the specifics. To order off the banquet menu you must have a minimum of 20 in your party. We did. And we chose the option that includes garlic bread, salad, pizza, pasta, and drinks, served buffet style. For 20 they start with four varieties of pizza (your choice), 2 pasta dishes from a list of more than a dozen, I think, Caesar or house salad or both, and bread and pitchers of soda on the tables. We called the day before our party to firm everything up. We were assured everything was handled (and they said we could bring our own cake). When guests started arriving before us, they had forgotten everything we talked about one day earlier. We arrived a few minutes later and when we started talking they remembered! Needless to say things got off to a slow start. But they caught up quickly. Our server, Jane, was really great. Very attentive but not overbearing. The food was good. We chose risotto in lieu of one of the pasta dishes and it was really tasty. We're glad we asked and they were happy to do it! The building is well laid out to offer banquets and host larger parties. The decor is kind of a rustic Italian motif, making the menu items feel more authentic. I would certainly consider using them again if I ever have a need to host a large party away from home again.m

Great Food, great service. The waitresses and hostesses were awesome. Our 15 minute wait turned into a 5 minute wait.

My impromptu visit to Skipolini's turned out to be a delightful.As I stepped into Skipolini's, I was greeted by an ambiance that was both inviting and quintessentially Italian.The staff at Skipolini's were the epitome of hospitality.The Chicken Piccata was wonderful. The chicken, succulent and tender, was enrobed in a zesty lemon-caper sauce that was bold yet balanced, enhancing the natural flavors without overpowering them.

We like coming here because I love love love their house salad. They also have a pizza on the children's menu where the kids assemble their own pizza and then it's baked up. We have had really good service, and really bad service. It's hit or miss.The last visit my daughter ordered a coffee and it tasted horrible I asked the the waitress to remove it from our bill (it cost like 4 bucks). She came back and had removed 2 dollars. It's was hilarious and very poor customer service. I won't say her name I will still go back though because I love that salad too much not to.

The Clayton location will always be the best, with its wonderful outdoor patio area under the trees and its old town charm. But this location is still a great spot for a nice weekend lunch. Comfy booths, good service, and the pizza and salads are really tasty. There is some decent outside seating as well. Recommended!

For my Mom and Dad Friends on yelp. Do yourself a favor and ask to be seated on the patio and let your monsters (I mean kids) go play on the play structure while you enjoy a nice night and some sparkling rose. The cajun pasta is a go to for me and I usually have enough to eat the next day. My Son is always a fan of the build your own pizza and brags about how cool it is he made to anyone around who will listen. They have a great selection of happy hour food/drinks and the service is pretty good. Shout out to the bar tender there and her peaches. No really (no HR case here), she brings her own peaches and makes the BEST sangria you could think of. Solid family oriented restaurant in the heart of Rocklin who can let us sip in peace while the kids get all the energy out. PS: in house brewery and gelato- YES PLEASE!

Great place for good food, service, and ambiance for the whole family! The kids love the play place outside and making their own pizzas. Our server Ray went above and beyond to make our 4 year old feel special on her birthday! Ray also made her older sister feel special since it wasn't her birthday with her own unique gelato dessert. Happy hour for drinks was a plus too. We will definitely be back with the kids and hope to get Ray again for his stellar service.

Ray took very good care of us very polite, great recommendations, highly recommend asking for rays section if you are coming in! NY Strip was great all around great experience.

Bartenders are not friendly. It's a very cold environment. I'll go to another place like Chilis , Cattlemens , Lazy Dog ...where it is a friendly place. They're always packed for the same reason.They are thieves with the cost they charge you. So many other places to go. This place is terrible.
