Simply Thai

A random Saturday and was craving some Thai food. Decided to come here since it's been awhile, we've been coming here since 2016, still good til this day. Over the years I noticed there might have been different owners. Such a small, cute, quiet, and cozy place. When you come in, you get greeted and seated quickly. Food is fresh and hot. The family and I ordered the Satay Chicken, Egg Rolls, Chicken Pad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, Beef Drunken Noodles, Coconut Juice and Thai Iced Coffee. We usually do take out here, and food would be ready quickly. But the day we went here it took a little longer than expected. We were the only ones there until 4 other families came in to eat as well. Understandable for the wait time and how there was only 1-2 workers at the time.

I called on Sunday for take out. I arrived to an empty restaurant. We ordered shrimp pad thai and chicken fried rice as well as chicken satay. This place is close to us in the Bel Air shopping center passing the gym and next to Quick Quack carwash.Im sorry to say the rice was lacking and had huge pieces of broccoli under the rice and very little chicken. It was dry and kinda burnt. The chicken satay was ok.The shrimp pad thai was the biggest let down. No flavor at all just bland noodles. It was too bad because they did give plenty of shrimp but no chili sauce and/or alfalfa sprouts but lots of shredded carrots and tiny portion of peanuts. Sad this wont be a place I go back to. Pricing was also great just not the flavors. :/

Food was fresh to order. Had good flavor. Service was nice and pleasant. Owner was cooking. Quiet, Clean, and nice ambiance.

First time here. Cute little small restaurant. The lady that served us was very polite. Didn't take long for our food to arrive. Everything was delicious. I just wished my papaya salad was spicer ( husband's fault, he cant handle spice) I will definitely be returning to try other items on the menu.

Quite mediocre Thai food. Thin watery light on flavor pa nang curry. Way too many carrots in both the pa nang curry and pad see ew. Just overall not very good unfortunately.

We LOVE this place! We come in every time we are in area - about once a month. First, the service is exceptional. The food is always hot and SO good. Be sure to ask for it spicy if you like spicy. The curry is our favorite and full of flavor. I get the yellow curry with chicken. My husband gets the green curry. The portions are a good size and reasonably priced. It is a quaint, hole in the wall, neighborhood place that can get crowded. It is very clean. You won't be disappointed!

I ordered the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles and both were extremely unpleasant. the noodles were severely stuck together. The flavor for both dishes were extremely odd and unlike any Thai I have tasted. The chicken and all of the vegetables in both entrees were extremely overcooked and dried. Noodles were extremely dry as well. I love Thai food but I will not be returning here.

The food was so bland and not spicy even after stating I wanted it very, very Thai spicy. If you want authentic Thai food, then this is not the place for you. There was no flavor in all the dishes I ordered. I was very disappointed about how pricey it was with such small portions.

It's a small joint with limited seating, maybe about 7 tables that can fit 2-4 people, usually quiet. I normally order to go and have only ate in once prior to the pandemic.The offerings here are traditional Thai dishes. While some of the reviews indicate the food is hit or miss, my go-to are the red and yellow curries and I've never been disappointed with them. I cant offer an opinion on other dishes at this time but may try something else next time I order.

The food is so yumm! And if u have different preferences this restaurant is perfect, they offer vegetarian options that actually taste amazing. The lady is honest and sweet, 10/10 the spot to try!!
