Silk Bar

To summarize in advance, this place is awesome! The comparisons to the "Cheers" bar atmosphere are definitely right on. Most certainly a regular crowd who are very friendly and very willing to welcome in new folks. Just a great bunch of people hanging out there, and Jennifer the bartender is fantastic! They do make it a point to learn your name, and on my receipt they had entered a notation that they apparently use as a way to try to remember your name in the future. My moniker was "Kings Bob" because I was there to watch the Kings game, which Jennifer kindly turned on for me. The owner was in attendance as well, a really nice guy who takes a genuine interest in making sure everybody is having a good time. As a final bonus, they brought in a couple of pizzas that were shared with everyone at the bar, a really nice touch and really good pizza.Looking forward to becoming a regular myself!

We popped in one afternoon, seeking some bar food to tide us over until dinner. What we found was a friendly little neighborhood sports bar but with limited solid food.When we sidled up to the bar and asked about food, Joe the bartender informed us that the kitchen was closed but offered us some bar snacks -- basically Chex Mix. I thought about asking if I could get some food from the pizza-by-the-slice place next door but decided not to.No matter. We selected a couple of IPAs from their 12-handle selection and proceeded to settle in.The Iron Bulldog is kind of like "Cheers" in that everybody knows your name, and if they don't, they'll ask. We were out-of-towners, staying at the hotel next door, but that didn't seem to matter. The handful of locals who were there welcomed us as though we were neighbors, introduced themselves, and soon we were chatting about sports, upcoming vacations, the kids, whatever. Nice, unpretentious atmosphere.We'd pop in again without hesitation if we're in town again. The beer was good, the people were friendly. If we're hungry, though, we'll just know we'll need to eat first.

Cool place, great spot to watch a game and chill. Strong well priced drinks in a very laid back environment

This is a great little sports bar right next door to the Hilton Garden Inn. It's a very chill place with karaoke on Wednesday night. The bartender Jennifer is awesome, very friendly and attentive. They do have TouchTunes for their jukebox which is cool. Unfortunately right now they don't have a kitchen but hopefully soon. All in all a great little sports bar which I will be back again!

Stopped in to watch the Eagles game since I was staying next door at the Hilton. I was greeted by Joe and some of the other people that were hanging out watching the games. The atmosphere is laid back, casual and chill. I only ordered a drink but saw him go back and make a Philly cheesesteak and some other menu items.

The open sign was on and two women behind the counter but the door was locked, Google says it's open but yelp says it's closed. I'm just confused and wishing I hadn't traveled 4 miles to get here.

Stopped in to the bar randomly for some food. Bartender was attentive and helpful. We arrived around 2pm on Sunday. The kitchen only had wings and fortunately the bartender convinced us they were great since the sauces are made in house. We got buffalo and habanero for our sauces. It was great to get buffalo sauce that was homemade with a bite of a kick. The habanero sauce didn't disappoint either. The bar had televisions and a dart machine. Great sports bar to check out.

Don't show up after 10pm on a Saturday night. They're closed! It's unfortunate the management lacks intellect.

The bartender was really nice and helpful. But... on Saturday night at 7pm there was NO FOOD!!!If you are looking for a place to have a drink and food, find somewhere else. If looking for just a good drink then this is your place.
