This is the best tiki bar in Sacramento. I loved the decor especially the giant snake coming out of the wall. I was greeted by Madison at the door and she was very kind and helpful even giving us a recommendation. Food was delicious as was the drinks. Our bartender Ryan was enthusiastic and knowledgable. Super fun to chat with and recommended the oysters. Super delicious. The bartender Mind also checked in on us frequently

I went on Sunday night and tried their buy 6, get 6 free oyster deal--it was a great deal! The oysters were fresh and clean, and the house sauce had a nice sweet and tangy balance. I also got the Demerara Steak Skewers, recommended by the bartender, and they were delicious, tender and well-marinated.For drinks I tried the Painkiller, Tropical Margarita, and Ube Espresso Martini. all were amazing! I'll be back to try more. The decor was fantastic and all the staffs was super friendly. Usually you order at the bar but they still checked on tables when they could, which made the experience even better!

It was my birthday weekend and this mommy needed a night out! After a quick search for tiki bars on yelp we found Shipwrecked! As we walked up to the front door, we could already tell this place was going to be cool. When we entered we felt like walked into a rainforest of exotic plants, animals and giant venus fly traps. After checking our IDs, our hostess gave us leis and offered us a table inside or out. While the outside spots are pretty cool, it was a cold night so we decided to stay inside. As far as drinks, the menu is similar to other tiki spots. Lots of fruity drinks, coconut, pinapple, rum and of course dole whip! I was torn between the Coconut Lime Crush and Painkiller but decided to go with the Painkiller for the dole whip and more cocktail, less slush. We also ordered tiki fries, potstickers steak skewers and shrimp skewers. The tike dusted fries were served with a creamy white truffle aoli sauce that had a slight garlic flavor. It was a nice addition compared to plain ranch or ketchup. The highlight of the food were pork potstickers served with sesame soy sauce. The filling had good flavor and the skin wasn't overly thick. Both skewers were good but we all preferred the shrimp over the steak. No doubt, the drinks were good and ambiance is fun. We had good service and enjoyed the food. Hopefully we'll get a chance to return again soon and enjoy more declicious food and drinks.

To celebrate a friend recently getting married and turning 40, we met at Shipwrecked Paradise Island. Hearing that it is a tiki bar, I was a little skeptical due to a past experience (at a different establishment) in which the drinks were presented well, but had no strength....I would be proven wrong! Walking into the dimly lit establishment, I was greeted by a friendly employee who recognized that I was a newbie and explained to me how to access the menu (via QR code). After reviewing the menu, I chose to order the Recession Proof Mai Tai (such a fitting name for our country's current economic status) from the friendly and charismatic bartender. While sitting in the outdoor dungeon area and catching up, a friendly employee by the name of Natalie periodically checked in on us. The Recession Proof Mai Tai was the perfect balance of being flavorful and strong. For my second drink, I selected the 1944 Mai Tai - which was delicious and strong similar to the Recession Proof (out of the two the recession proof was my favorite). Initially, I planned on stopping at two drinks; however, Natalie mentioned that they have shooters that we had to try before concluding our night. I opted for the ChocoNana Buzz shooter with black coffee rum, banana cream, and dark cacao. This was the perfect venue to celebrate my friend's recent achievement and milestone. The establishment tapped into my nostalgic side and reminded me of a good time at a bar in Maui that served really good Mai Tais (very similar to Shipwrecked). While closing out the tab, Natalie shared that they serve a drink called the Zombie Jet Pilot that is so potent (two shots) that they limit it to one per guest...I will be back to try it!

Shipwrecked is fun and sooo different from a 'standard' bar/lounge. The interior decor is super fun, the service was great, and we got to talk a bit with the owner as he was there on that night (maybe he is there every night). We enjoyed an appetizer and cocktail before heading out for dinner elsewhere. They do have small plate items that could serve as dinner. Our spring rolls appetizer was good. I would come back here for sure. The interior and overall vibe beats standing or sitting at a 'no frills' bar any day. Be sure to check out the back room area that has seating inside cages... awesome!

My friends wanted to check out a tiki bar so we came here on a Friday night. We got there around 5:30pm so they were not too busy. Once walked in, our IDs were checked and got our leis. You grab your own table and then order drinks or food at the bar. The atmosphere was really cool. Food and drinks came out pretty quick. For the drinks, you will wait at the counter to receive them. For food, they will give you a number and will bring to your table. Presentations were nice. They do offer mocktails which was awesome. Their food and drinks were good overall. Services were nice and friendly.

This bar is probably one of the best tiki bars in all of Sacramento. Pulled up on a Saturday night and had to wait 5-10 mins in line to get in. The ambiance inside definitely felt tropical and resembled that of being inside a ship. It was super busy so no seating areas were available however, they do have standing areas. You do have to scan a QR code to see the drink and food menu and order at the bar. I ended up trying their banana boat bliss and tropical margarita. Prices are fairly on par with what you'd expect to pay at most tiki bars and the drinks were definitely flavorful. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good tiki bar experience.

We hopped in here and it was like we stepped into a tiki island! I love the decorations. Here you seat yourself, then scan the QR code for menu. Then you go to the counter to order and pickup your drinks, which was kind of odd. We waited a bit to order considering it wasn't busy. But staff was kind.I ordered the passionfruit drink. It was delicious! Would definitely return to try other drinks.

I came in over the weekend to try this place for the first time. I was blown away by the decor. It is captivating, blending pirate themes, jungle plants and animated creatures. I felt like i was a little kid at the rainforest cafe again! Their drink menu has a huge selection. I first ordered an Ube espresso martini per Connor's suggestion. Connor was such an fun, attentive and knowledgeable bartender. He elevated my experience to a whole new level. Next I ordered a 1944 Mai tai, along with the steak skewers and oysters. They really hit the spot. The skewers were a perfect blend of sweet and savory. I will be back, i am hoping to check out their mojito night on thursdays! You are in for a treat when you go to Shipwrecked!
