My deposit was stolen by electronic utilization at this retailer and upon phone communication with 2 employees, I was very unpleased and frustrated from the lack of cooperation from the theft. My transaction was exactly $282.13 today at 11:40am. I live in Los Angeles & have no connections or dealings in Sacramento. Finally, with female english speaker disconnecting phone on me twice upon my request to dispute transaction, I highly disapprove of their service and do not recommend anyone shop here due to their care for profiting off of theft.

Really excited that this place has finally opened up. Love getting fresh meat here from the butcher, replenish spices, grab some more tea and am excited that the restaurant part is now opened as well. Menu included mantao(stuffed gr beef dumplings), qabuli plow with lamb shank, all the different kabob types as well as gyro options. They do lots of take out and pick up orders too.Support your loca friendly small businesses!!

They have bread service almost after 11 am don't drive to get it it is waste of time. I drove 7 miles to get Afghani bread and it was almost 9:15 am but when I ask them they answer was no. It is not ready yetUseless

I am afghan and i know what home food taste like. Let me tell you!!!! this place is the place you want to go if you want real taste of afghan food. We have Kabli palaw every Friday with Lamb shank under the rice. LORD it is soooo danm goood. The kabob wrapped in the bread. LORD JUESUS CHRIST. HEAVEN!!!My mom is jealous because we now go to the restaurant.

I've had middle eastern food before but not afghani food so I can't speak to the authenticity. It was bomb though. I can't believe this place has been missing all my life. Everything was so wonderfully seasoned and had the perfect amount of heat. It was also ridiculously inexpensive with generous portions. I got the chapli kebab which came with 2 patties. I was able to split my dish into 2 meals. My husband got the chicken kebab plate, which was just as generously portioned but he ate it in one go. Each meal also came with several pieces of flatbread and was delicious in its own right.I highly recommend this joint! I live 30 mins away and would drive out of the way for a meal from here.
