Shenanigans Kitchen & Bar

We decided to check this place out after seeing it on Facebook as an event ! We all love 90's R and B and were excited to try this establishment out... Now to the good and bad of things ... The Food.. horrible.. I am sorry .. I was served cold tasteless French toast and undercooked potato.. there were 4 of us in our group and none of us were happy with our food ! I reordered a different food choice and though it was slightly better.. The fish and chips.. the fish pieces were so small and the coleslaw was a tasteless waste of space on the plate wow .. the fish and chips were edible however at $16.99 it wasn't worth it for 3 small pieces of fish nuggets and fries.. SMH .. the service was ok , nothing special nor did anyone check to see if we needed anything other than to keep asking if we wanted to order more drinks smh .. the atmosphere was lively and festive so they get points for that .. The DJ Mike kept the 90's hits coming and was very customer service friendly, so he definitely did his job ... would I patronize this establishment again ?Sure , I may check out other events , however I will eat before I come and order drinks only ! The bar was advertising a 90s brunch on FB so my friend and I decided to check it out. This spot used to be The Couch and just recently changed ownership. The menu was limited but they had a few good items. I went with the avocado toast and unlimited mimosas. The mimosas were pre mixed and when you wanted a refill you hear to the counter. The bar was super packed and table service wasn't the best. I had to wave someone down after 30mins to take my order. Events like these they might think about getting more staff to assist because it was pretty frustrating. The food was good and the music was great. The Dj played all the good 90s jams. I will definitely be back for more events

Dishonest and disappointing!!! Ordered an American burger with bacon...WELL done (reason is their menu states burgers come Medium). Burger arrived barely medium. I explained to the bartender hostess that I'm ok with paying for this burger to pease make another well done. She proceeded to say " I told them well done"...then not too seconds later "You ordered medium". What??? Why would I ordered what your menu already states??? At that moment all trust lost. I asked for receipt to pay...again receipt looks as though I MADE the mistake! No ms bartender YOU did! Take ownership and you would y see this review! I paid IN CASH more than she deserved...if under NEW OWNERSHIP means new paint same BS...recommend you save time and $$ and go elsewhere!!!

Great little place to hang out and watch a sports game or listen to live music. The bartender was very polite and had a great personality and loved her purple hair.. Go Sacramento Kings... My friend ordered the pizza and she said it was very good. They have a pool table and dance floor for live bands. They do have leather couches too. Anyway, I was very pleased with going to the The Couch and having a great time .

Went for the 90s R&B brunch and I don't think they anticipated as many people coming that did. We got there around 11:30 and the event started at 11. Not a single table available and was already so packed. They only had one server for the entire restaurant which bless her heart she was doing amazing for being the only one!! I hope home girl took home ALL those tips because shoot. It took an hour to get our food which we debated on leaving prior to getting our food but as soon as we said that our food came out. The staff was so nice with how busy it was but if they hold another event like this one I don't think I will be attending again. Overall would return any other day but for an even absolutely not.

Whoever made my Pizza on Saturday night deserves a raise, it was delicious. I will be ordering my pizza from this establishment and have it delivered now that delivery is available. I was very impressed with the high quality.

This place is definitely a mood, a vibe, a scene....however you wish to characterize it. There are definitely a set of regulars, and that's cool, but this is the type of (supposed) sports bar where people come to get happy drunk....that may annoy nearby customers (i.e. me).The pulled pork sandwich was ok...but was missing the cole slaw. The fries were inconsistently cooked. So, food is a "meh."Long story short, this is a "dive" for the regulars to enjoy on a weekly basis to get sloshed. As this advertises as somewhat of a sports bar, I asked to change a channel to the obscure station of ESPN. The bartender said sure, and two hours later after frequent convos with her regulars, she never got to it. So...I was stuck watching the XFL on multiple screens.Think of Moe's from the Simpsons with multiple tvs and food options. I do not foresee myself becoming a regular

On Saturday my wife and I decided to go to a bar at the last minute to watch the Niner & Seahawks Wild Card game. I thought of The Couch because I've seen it talked about online as far as being a good sports bar in the Sacramento area. When we walked in were greeted by both bartenders and told we could sit anywhere we liked. We sat in the middle seating area in front of one of two large projection screens. The Couch also has several flat screens all throughout the bar. We ordered drinks and several appetizers to share - The Couch Sliders w/a house salad, onion rings, and garlic parmesan chicken wings. Our drinks were great and the food was really good. I do have one critique for the sliders - the meat itself had no flavor. The service was great and there seems to be a lot of regulars that frequent The Couch. The vibe was a hood fit for us and we got to watch the game.

I've never eaten here but I hear it's good The service is great and there's always something fun happening ur a game on Fun local spot

My drink was amazing service was great patio was cool. Didn't know it was a smoking section but. Had couches so it was nice to sit outside.
