They are supposed to open at 10am. Today, August 29 2022 I came early at 9:45am and waited till 10:20am but they die not open. There should be some responsibility towards long-time customers. Will never shop there again.

Fuck this place. Dude at the counter is so shitty. While handing him my debit card he asks me why I don't lose weight and when i tell him i'm pretty okay with how i look, he goes on to tell me why i shouldn't be and that I should exercise. This was right after going to the 99cent store to purchase supplies for homeless folks and then walking the entire loaves and fishes area to hand out supplies.

Their meat (goat/lamb) is the best in Sacramento. I have been coming here for 5-6 years, the guy who work at the front has always been nice and respectful. I always love coming here!!! Best store run by best people. Always fresh!

The only things I've ever bought from here are Rice and raw (diced and Halaal) chicken meat. The location is conveniently located in the same parking lot as the 99 Cents only Store, and is one of the closest places (for some) to shop in a variety of rice, and meats. I would consider this place a Pakistani grocery store that also sells bits of things that also belong in the broader Middle Eastern Spectrum. They have many different brands and kinds of rice. I saw a bag of rice for only $12 and another fancy bag that was priced at +$80. If you wanna buy super fancy Pakistani rice, I suppose this is a place for that. However, there was a night that I was supposed to cook for two people, a dish that required/included chicken meat (boneless). Shan Market came to my rescue, because not only did they have thawed boneless chicken meat: it was already diced for me! SCORE. Service is a little slow and standoffish but I would not say they are rude at all, in fact the employee who helped me was smiling and said he hoped I would come back again.

Horrible customer service. Great selection of food and halal meat but the front desk staff is rude. I especially don't appreciate how they freaking follow you from aisle to aisle as soon as you walk in especially is your black. This was my second time coming here and best believe I will not be returning. I was surprised that a pound of lamb stew was almost 11 dollars, yeah no

One star only because they stock halal meat and the guy serving at the meat market was pretty helpful. The guy in front though, has zero customer service skills. We take about a 2 hour drive to shop at this store and have been there several times and all the times we were there this guy was not interested in helping customers. The store was not even busy! We were probably the only customers in the store at that time. He doesn't even greet customers or say thank you, let alone smile ughhh that sour face is enough to send us on our way back home Another peeve Is that most of the items do not have prices listed and then we have to ask sour face and that just makes us bleh again The only reason we go there is because of the halal meat. And we spend $$$$ at a time. The prices have also escalated pretty much too. Anyways today was the last. Time to find another, friendlier store to shop at.

Fraud!!! They sell frozen lamb chops New Zealand but when thawed, it's shoulder, a hard piece of meat (picture enclosed). My husband bought it and I cooked it. Later on he told me, it's suppose to be lamb chops.I encourage people to report this at USDA meat and poultry hotline and you'll be given a direct phone number where you can call. When called on the phone the customer service of the store said that their fresh lamb chop is expensive. Like, we can't afford so you give us a deceit piece of meat ? I hope your business goes down and closes.
