Lovely bar to go enjoy beverages privately or on a date just to enjoy each other. I had a taste for a margarita of all things and it was great. Thank you shakers.

Nice casual neighborhood bar. Very welcoming atmosphere, non-threatening, easy going clientele. Friendly bartenders, helpful and attentive.

A neighborhood bar with red leather and red velvet booths, and ...BONUS: Bar stools with backs! :-) :-)They've got a jukebox, and in a second, more open room to the right, are pool tables, shuffleboard and a fireplace, which I liked. A couple of pizzas were delivered to a customer as I munched on some of the free peanuts served in plastic cups along the bar. Love places that encourage peanut shell droppings on the floor.Problem is, the acoustics. The ceiling is really low. So, you get a couple of guys whose voices are at the highest volume usually reserved for concerts and you want to bail.

Great bar whether you live in the neighborhood, or not. I've been coming here for about 10 years and have seen a lot of changes over that time. A large portion of Sacramento natives have grown up (I know, it's a scary idea) in Shakers, but sadly moved on over the years. This is still a great place to go get a good drink, hang out, and meet some colorful people that will act like they've known you for years. Jaime is one of the original owners and works his ass off to make sure everyone has a great time. Shakers is good when it's slow and great when it's packed, but give it a shot either way and join the family. Just remember that the drinks are strong and the Citrus Heights Police need more revenue, so plan ahead and grab a cab for $20. It's cheaper than $10,000 for a DUI.

Owner passed away in which I'm truly sorry for but I had money on an account for a layaway for a Hellkat and can't get hold of them . Anybody know how ?

Friendly community bar. Jamie is one of the best bar tender/ owners you could ask for. He's super attentive, friendly, funny and knows how to pour a great drink! If you're looking for an affordable and friendly place to go... Search no further!

Honestly dude do you wanna ask the girl that works at the bank out on a date? but you don't have the nut sack to do it because your ex wife took them in the divorce? So now you're dwelling on it again and again driving home alone yet again? In the corner if your eye on this lonely car ride you see a neon martini glass on the roof of this mysterious establishment, what could it be? You walk inside and boom all of a sudden you feel like a man again, its the bar of your dreams, and you're ready to reclaim your nuts so you drive back to the bank and ask her out because you now have the perfect place to take her but surprise surprise she looks at you weird like you're some kind of creep SO NOW you drive back to shakers™ alone AGAIN walk inside and order a lonely drink. 3 hours goes by and you've had the night of your life, your balls back, and two almost attractive ladies on your arms. Now thats a shakers™ kind of night. .Tip your bartender ladies and gentlemen.

Nothing special, just a nice, friendly neighborhood bar. Friendly bartender, friendly patrons, nice place to relax after you've called it a day.
