It was our first time to shake shack today. I had a black truffle, single burger, and my wife had the single bacon cheeseburger. I then added the bacon cheese fries, and my wife had regular fries. I had a cherry blossom shake, and my wife had a chocolate cocoa shake. It was $52 for everything which is OK. It was very easy to navigate the kiosk ordering. The order came out quickly. Everything tasted good and everything was nice and warm. It was "almost" enough food to fill us up. The burger and fries could've both been just a bit bigger. All the employees were super great.

I like Shake shack a lot when I visit New York, but I have not yet been to their midtown Sacramento or Roseville Galleria stores yet, as I live in Rancho. I had a coupon for a free shack burger with a purchase, and I was thrilled to see that they are now at the Palladio in Folsom. The place is easy to find, as it fronts Iron Point Road.I come in, the place was bright and clean, and everybody was so friendly. To get my free burger, I had to order it on the app, but the app was being a bit wonky to me. The employee cheerfully showed me what I needed to do to get it to work, and within a few seconds, my order was in. I ordered a shack burger., a side order of the Parmesan truffle fries, and a soda. My order came quickly. Of course, I forgot to get a picture of the food. The burger was good. The bun was a bit soft, so it didn't hold up to the burger very well. But, you could tell it was a good quality meat, and it was char-grilled to perfection. All of the veggies that came with the burger were crisp and fresh. The one thing I didn't care for was the cheese. For such a high-quality burger, I thought that using American cheese, was a bit of a letdown. The next time I would just order it without the cheese. The Parmesan truffle fries were not just a home run, they were a grand slam! The crinkle cut fries were the perfect temperature and texture, they were very generous with the Parmesan on the fries, and that truffle mayo, dipping sauce? Oh my God... it's made with mayonnaise, and black truffle oil. A very high-quality oil too. It was so amazingly rich! I would gladly order that on one of my burgers. It's one of the best dipping sauces. I have had in a long, long time. Even if I would've had to pay for the burger, for the quality of the food, the price is reasonable . I'm glad they are here, I will be back. Thank you!

Ambiance:Basic self serve hamburger place. Nothing special. Service:People greeted you as you entered and stated if you need help ordering at the kiosk; just ask. The kiosk is pretty basic. Food:Bacon Cheeseburger. Let's just say In N Out has NOTHING to worry about. This burger was good and cooked well. Just not worth high price. Crinkle Cut Fries. These are always an excellent choice and cooked well. Just remember everything is priced separately; no break on combos. Just not their style. Chocolate Shake. I really thought this is where the difference maybe due to the word Shake in their name. Let's just say that In N Out and Carl's Jr. is better$25.00 and change for the three items. Your basic meal. Definitely owned by an elite!

Well now, look what opened up in Folsom. A Shake Shack! It's in the Palladio shopping center but on the outskirts in a building alongside Iron Point Drive. Right when we stepped in, we were greeted multiple times by various staff. Energetic enthusiasm filled the air! A huge crew of employees were working on this particular weekday evening. We ordered at the counter with an employee. But ordering can also be done at the kiosk. Hubs and I ordered a Shake Shack cheeseburger, hot dog, chocolate milkshake and lemonade. It set us back about $25. They bring out the drinks and food. There are no drink dispensers out in the dining area. If you want a refill, you have to go to the counter to ask. This process is a bit difficult for an old bear like me to get used to. The lemonades are made out of cane sugar, no HFCS. Yes! $4.59 for a small. The dining area is pretty large. Chill, comfortable vibes. Onto the fooood. The Shake burger is a cheese burger with lettuce and tomatoes. Don't get that confused with the cheeseburger which comes without the lettuce and tomato. We almost ordered the wrong one. Hubs was feeling generous and offered me a bite. I took a small bite since it was not particularly large. Good flavors! Angus beef. The hot dog is all beef and split grilled. It had a nice snap to it, and it's Vienna beef hot dog. It's regular hot dog size. $4.99. Hubs ordered a shake but it didn't come with whipped cream even though the menu pictures did. Another thing I noticed is this location doesn't offer a non dairy chocolate shake or custard while most other Shake Shacks do. Aw shucks. I even asked the cashier and she confirmed. Overall great addition to the Folsom food scene.

Bravo! Less than a week open and it seems this location is running like a well oiled ship. We arrived on a Wednesday: kiosks all working, employees friendly and knowledgeable. We got the limited edition black truffle fries, black truffle burger and my favorite: the shack stack. All came out fresh and delicious!A staff member made the rounds asking everyone if they needed anything else including refills on my lemonade. I didn't know they offered free refills! Been missing out all this time at other locations.I will be back probably more than I should, as this is right next to the Tesla supercharger!

I've included pictures from our two visits. I was not able to review them when we visited on opening day, due to the business not yet being available on Yelp. The hubster and I returned tonight for an early dinner. Inside you have the option to order at a kiosk or at the counter. We have now done both and they are equally effective. If you want friendly and human interaction wait for counter ordering. The interior is kept very clean. There are options to sit at tables or booths inside or tables outside. Both visits we sat inside and did not have an issue finding a place to sit. Staff is VERY friendly and courteous. Something in short supply these days. So I appreciate finding this and let them know. On to the food... these are NOT your ordinary, run-of-the-mill fast food burgers. I would rank Shake Shack Burgers above In and Out and perhaps even slightly edging out Five Guys for flavor and freshness. Their fries are crinkle cut...not my favorite, but mighty tasty. We also shared a soda and have yet to try one of theirshakes. Their prices are on the upper end, but it is nice to treat yourself to a delicious bite and especially enjoy the staff that work there so why not! Pop in and give Shake Shack a try.

First off. Yes shake shack is expensive. We all know that going in. I've had shake shack twice. Once in NY and again at one of the airports. Both were pretty average. I went to try out this location. Had their special truffle burger. Fries and the pomegranate drink. Burger was delicious. The bun was really good. The drink was great. That great balance of sweet and tart. Fries were bland. The biggest issue is with ordering. You walk in through the door. There 2 kiosks to the left. 2 cash register in front. There is no directed lines. People are clumped up here waiting for food or ordering. It's nearly impossible to tell where the line is to order. It's messy.

Finally tried the new Folsom location after it's opening here a couple months back. The restaurant is clean, modern, sleek with cool background music playing. Self-ordering was easy. There weren't too many customers at noon on a Thursday, so the food came out really quick. Everything was prepared to perfection. I loved my cheese fries that tasted great from beginning to end (unlike In and Out which turn into cardboard). My single cheeseburger was heavenly. My chocolate shake was thick and complemented everything. The prices are higher than In and Out, but so so worth it. I've found my go to hamburger and shake place!

Shake Shack is awesome for a quick, tasty bite. The burgers are juicy, the fries are crispy, and the shakes are super creamy. It' is a bit pricier than fast food, but totally worth it for the quality. Great vibes too!

The first time I had shake shack it was in Vegas. Amazing food AND super amazing service. The second time was in Orlando. The third time was in Boston. However when they opened one in Sac I was so excited but I never went to it except once. But I was openly going out of my way to find Shake Shacks when out of town. However, I WILL be coming back to this location. It's much closer to me than Sac, the location is easily accessible, the food was delicious and the service was really wonderful. Everyone was friendly and helpful and had a great attitude. The whole dining area was packed but it was dinner time on a Thursday. When you walk in, use the kiosks to the left and I guess wait on the right. There's not much room to wait. I thought food came out pretty quickly. Fries were more well done instead of blonde which I LIKE. makes it nice and crispy. Burgers were well seasoned as usual and cheese sauce definitely gets congealed after a few minutes. But when it's warm it's so good. Price point is yes, a little high, but quality makes up for it! I'll be back!
