Sherazad Restaurant is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home.I ordered the Lamb Shank with Saffron Rice, and it was incredibly tender, falling off the bone with rich, flavorful spices. The Chicken Kabob was just as impressive--juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly grilled. The fresh naan and hummus were also a great addition to the meal.The service was excellent--attentive but not overbearing. The staff genuinely care about their customers and are happy to offer recommendations.Overall, Sherazad delivers on quality, portion size, and authenticity. Whether you're a fan of Persian and Middle Eastern flavors or trying them for the first time, this place is worth checking out!

True authentic Persian cuisine. They have every dish you can think of from kabobs, stews, and dessert. The service was amazing. Will definitely be back for the live music and piano! The lunch specials are an amazing deal! Hard to find a $15 lunch that actually fills you up and is nutritious.

Came here for a friend's birthday and had such a delicious meal! They had someone playing piano live during our meal which was nice considering it was a weekday evening! It's definitely a more formal type of place and I wouldn't have felt comfortable bringing kids.To be honest I would probably lean more towards a 4.5 stars...they didn't check on us very often and we all had empty waters, then when they finally came by we asked for water and they still didn't give us a refill and only brought the check. But other than that they were very nice, just need some more work with checking on all their tables since we saw them checking on others more often than us. As for the food, everything was amazing! My favorite was the spicy koobideh, I've never seen a spicy option at other places. I love eating my meal with the maast o khiar which was nicely made. All of the other meats were so tender, even the chicken. We also had the fesenjoon which our friend said is not easy to find in Sacramento, so it was a treat to have! The pomegranate really added so much flavor to it and gave it a sweeter taste. It was a very small portion though so it seemed like $20 was quite pricey. The 6 of us only had a scoop each so just something to consider if you're picking that item for family style meal. Overall such a filling and flavorful meal!

Wow oh wow!I am so glad my friend choice to get take out from here. I've driven by multiple times but have never gone in. There was no time like the other day! Everything tasted fresh, well seasoned, and delicious. Huge portions! The inside was very busy and I'm glad I was getting takeout because I was very under dressed! Definitely will be going back!

We found this restaurant after visiting the Sacramento Children's museum. It is located in a spacious parking lot and looks nice from the outside. Upon entry, you are transported to another world, with Persian decor and artwork. The staff greeted us upon arrival and sat us down almost instantly. We got a couple orders of dough, and a soda, an order of koobideh, a single order of koobideh, a jojeh kabob thigh and a vegetarian fesenjoon. All the food was great, the service was outstanding and we will surely return if we ever come back to Rancho Cordova.

Delicious food !! We really enjoyed the Persian tea. The place, vibes, decor everything was well thought out. We were greeted and sat upon arrival. Would love to be back.

Great food served in traditional Persian flatware. The jujeh kabob is my favorite but the other choices are excellent too. Would recommend!!

YH was cheerful and great! Food was delicious! We ordered the meal for two platter and it had a variety of kebabs.
