Came for takeout, and I think there is definitely better Vietnamese sandwiches in the area. Food was ok, but more veggies than meat despite the price. The flavor seems off too. Sad, but I probably won't be back.

2nd time buying live crab from this location and it's been awful. Another $50 in the garbage. Attempted to take advantage of the crab sale that's been going on since last month. Both times, the crab meat was either blackened or very runny; as if they're rotting. I bought 4 this time and was only able to eat the legs and claws of 1.I come here for my Asian ingredients because of their location, but have always had a problem with the seafood selection (either really old or almost expiring). Super bad quality. I have to get the fish deep fried to be able to consume it, otherwise the fishy smell is unbearable. Also, the banh mi lacks flavor and the bread is extremely chewy. The pate smells more rancid than usual when compared to other locations, but the older ladies behind the counter are like welcoming Asian aunties. Super nice.

Good place. I will stop here when I am in the area. They have a good selection of appetizers. I like the sesame puffs very much. My favorite banh mi is the duck banh mi. The duck is so very rich, and they give you a large portion. As for the drink, I usually get the 3 color boba drink. Again, very delicious. I'm not sure what's in it, but I like it. The prices are a bit high, but the food is good. HOWEVER... Be careful about shopping at the market that is attached to the banh mi counter. Usually, everything is fine. However, the last time I bought some frozen fish, when I thawed it, it smelled rancid. I had to throw it out. Another time, I was going to buy some lactaid milk. It's ultra-pasteurized, so it's usually good for a month and a half to 2 months. I checked the date on the ones they were selling? less than 2 weeks to the expiration date. That's telling me that the milk is *OLD!* Stick to the banh mi, and you'll be fine.

I should've read the reviews first. The egg rolls had no flavor. The chicken and vegetable buns were ok. The roasted duck sandwich was good though so I guess it is hit or miss. The ladies service was very friendly and family oriented as if I've been there before but it was my first time.

These are no Huong Lan Sandwiches. But they're definitely a better value than those $10 "Banh Mi" you see on the menu of restaurant in Downtown/Midtown. Base on the sandwiches and their BBQ duck and pork items, I would give them 4 Stars. But they also serve Dim Sum and combination plates. This is what drops them to 3 stars. Their food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Maybe it was sitting out too long or they just had a bad day, but they tasted like they made the food just to make it, and didn't put effort into whether it will taste good or not. Flavor and texture was just not there. They should focus on the quality of food an not the quantity. It's better to sell out of good food than to have mediocre food left over to sell. I really hope they take reviewer's honest criticism and try to improve. I want to see local business thrive.P.S. Their milk tea is horrible. They just put tea and condense milk. It's so bad I have to warn people. Especially with all the milk tea shops in Sacramento, maybe they should take this item off their menu.

Sesame puffs are good, but a hit or miss at times. One time they were great. Another time they were oh so dry.Banh mi grilled pork was not good. The meat was way to sweet. Seems like they use regular mayo instead of Viet butter. They were stingy on the pickled veggies. Just not a lot of depth in flavor that I am used to. All I tasted was sugar/sweet meat.

Ordered from this place on doordash and my items arrived spoiled. I really wish I checked yelp before placing my order. My grilled pork sandwich was sour & so was the bun. The siu mai was undercooked and the coffee was diluted. DO NOT order from here. $20+ dollars down the drain.

Delicious! My partner and I got a combo plate and it was absolutely wonderful. The Thai iced tea was PERFECT and inexpensive! The soup came with it and in total it costed $18 I can't wait to come back, staff were friendly and quick! The fried rice was surprisingly salty but paired well with everything else- the chicken was the STAR OF THE SHOW! So so delicious

I got this delivered through DoorDash. The rangoons were overly cooked with little to no filling. The sweet and sour pork was inedible because of the meat being grisly. The spring rolls had kale instead of romaine lettuce as advertised and little herbs. They also cut their shrimp lengthwise to make it look like there was more shrimp than there was. Pork buns had unidentified hard things inside. We will not go back. (ps I am a person that usually writes positive reviews but we just wasted 50 dollars. I am not happy.)
