A Sac Town classic!This is high end casual dining, where you order at the counter. The counters have a wide variety of food (both hot & cold) and desserts, all beautifully prepared with fresh local ingredients. Their wood fired pizzas are excellent.M. Although expensive, the food is delicious and worth the price.Artisanal cocktails are available at the bar, that are beautifully prepared. There is plenty of seating options, both inside and on the patio. This place is popular and can be quite crowded depending on the time of day.

My normal Selland's was closed for remodel so we decided to try this one out. Parking lot was pretty full for a Thursday night at 7pm but they also share a lot with a brewing company so that may be it also. Ordering was easy. They had a large menu posted on a board at the entrance or several slots with menus to pull from. We ordered their mushroom chicken breast with Brussel sprouts, a turkey and Brie sandwich and a Tahitian vanilla lemonade. My husband's chicken was moist and he really enjoyed the mushroom sauce, he did say he would ask for extra sauce next time though. I did feel a little ripped off on my Brussel sprouts though. When you put the halves together, I got maybe 3 sprouts for $7. My turkey and Brie sandwich was ok. I had been a huge fan of their turkey and Brie with cranberry sauce that they had seasonal for the holiday season and really wish they still offered it as the turkey and Brie without the cranberry sauce just tasted kind of bland. I will say the lemonade was delicious. It was perfectly tart in the first seconds of the sip and then a little hint of sweetness from the vanilla followed. Overall, it's a decent spot. Service was great as always. Like I said, it was a tad busy and our food took about 15 minutes, so not too bad. While this isn't my normal Sellands, I'm still a fan and will continue to support.

We were looking for a bite that was not too crazy expensive and offered a great salad, and Selland's fit the bill. Set in an open airy space off of Broadway, we noticed some renovations that were underway but not yet complete. This is not a full service restaurant, you walk by the glass deli case with prepared salads and meats, look at a posted menu, and order at the counter. You will be given a number and they will bring it to your table.We decided with the weather finally cooling off, to eat on the patio. Sitting outside is a nice treat At Selland's, the outside area has a variety of different sized tables and can accommodate larger sized groups as well. It is nicely landscaped with wild grasses and plants and creates a calm atmosphere for eating.I ordered the turkey cobb salad, and the hubs a club sandwich, both were made with quality ingredients. My salad had in-house smoked turkey on it, which was a nice surprise and leveled up the entire meal, along with perfectly ripe avocado and a ton of bacon. Im not a huge meat eater, so for me it was actually way too much bacon, but for those who love pork, you will enjoy this salad. My substitution of ranch dressing was also clearly made in-house, it was thick and delicious. The hubs enjoyed his sandwich which included hearty multigrain bread and again, more bacon.They have weekly specials that include two entrees and a bottle of wine, and those seem like a good value. While the prices are elevated, it is a pretty restaurant with a variety of food, and I will return to get the smoked turkey again.

A yummy little find! While driving to Tahoe, we pulled over and happily ended up here! You order the food at the counter and then you sit and they bring you your food. We sat at the bar and tried the Paloma Sour, which was really good! And so was the service. We each got a salad, I got the power Caesar (add chicken) and my bf got the chopped chicken and Fuji apple, both were HUGE portions and delish! Everything was fresh!! We agreed next time we would share a salad and try one of their wood fired pizzas. Oh and the desert case looked divine!!!! I wish I would have tried something-next time!

This is my 2nd time here. Very clean and quick service. This time I got the BLTA and my husband got the BBQ burger. We went with 6 others, one got the French dip sandwich (which I got the first time I went it was YUM) one for the pizza with hot honey, and I think 2 other burgers. Also got a slice of German chocolate cake! Also yum. My one suggestion is to get flavors for their iced coffee. I wanted to have iced coffee however they did not have a selection of flavors, because of this i opted out

Came to meet a large group of friends and loved this place from the moment I walked in. It's very clean inside and beautiful. Very simple and lots of seating. You Order at register and food is brought out to your table. A little on the pricier side but food was good. Ordered the Chipotle Orange chicken thighs with Maple butternut squash and roasted brussels sprouts with bacon and a side of mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy. The orange chicken thighs were cooked to perfection very tender, and the skin was crispy and full of the chipotle orange flavor. Butternut squash was also cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of maple butter. Gravy for the mashed potatoes was one of the best tasting gravy I've had with mushrooms. So many options on their menu I will definitely be back to try other items.

In a nutshell; it's okSeems to be a rather bustling place as it gives off a rather cafeteria feel just as how it is to order. There are indoor and outdoor sitting so doesn't seem that you'd run out of seats no matter how busy they may be. There's a good number of parking so that's a plus for an establishment downtown. Food is ok. It's fairly well made but isn't overly great and closer to slightly above average. Overall ok place to swing by if you're in the area but wouldn't be a place I'm seeking considering price wise and quality wise.

Selland's was an overall pleasant experience. I had gone during the COVID shit downs and they were open with outdoor seating. The food was nothing special though looked really good. It is on the pricier side for market style but the service was pretty good. A lot of people were going back and forth from Bike Dog and there so their service was spot on. With the live music next door and collaboration between the two establishments really helps out. Not a bad place at all.
