A must try! Came here with a big group. I Got a lychee mojito. Absolutely delicious. (10/10) We just ordered a lot of their appetizers. We got oysters (10/10) really good. Fresh, briny, house sauce had good flavors. Steamed balut with tamarind. Friends love it. (8/10) Crab legs (9/10) garlic butter was great. Crab was easy to crack and eat. Generous portions. Calamari (6/10) I didn't love it. Could have been crispier. Razor Clams with lemongrass sauce (10/10) we loved these and ordered more. Staff was REALLY attentive. The atmosphere is loud, think like a club/karaoke vibe. Definitely a fun atmosphere for a birthday dinner + night out. Which is what we were there for.

I enjoyed the food and service. Staff are friendly.I think the style of pot used for the hot pot is good for presentation and pictures, but the food is already slowly cooking without being in the broth before one wants to have it. It comes with good amount of pho in which one order of hotpot certainly feeds 2 persons. This is also the first time I have thin noodles for garlic noodles, which is interesting and different.

I really enjoy coming to this location for seafood. We had the fish sauce wings, blood clams, clam salad, a pound of crawfish, balut, and mango salad. Our friends also ordered some chowmein.I enjoyed all of the food, but the crawfish was so small that it was hard to enjoy given it takes so much work to eat. The waiter said it was in season so we expected a little more umph in the trunk. The balut was baked or something and a little different from the traditional way of eating it.Whatever you do eat the green sauce and pepper with everything it's amazing !

1/1/2024Happy NEW Year!! We decided we wanted to have yet again another seafood for our family NY dinner today! Looks like a good size restaurant inside with ample seating. They have a small parking lot.We arrived around 5:30 for dinner for 5, seated fairly quickly. We ordered a bunch of different items to try and assumed service would bring things out according to type (light to heavy). The order of items arriving was challenging as we were seated a table for 6 so there wasn't enough room for every thing ordered. Water with lemon arrived shortly after seating followed by the hot pot set up (burner, bowls, plates, utensils)Steamed obtuse horn shell in coconut milk (oc Len xao Dua) - on the sweet side served warmGrilled Razor clams with green onions (oc mong tay) - chewy and ours served room temp vs hot.Mango salad- this was pretty good. Would be better if this came out first vs 3rd item. Soda for the kids arrived. Dungeness Crab salt/pepper - this was really small. Cut into 4 pieces and was extremely salty. My lychee martini arrived. This was a solid beverage. I could have had another but paced myself. Lau Hai San (seafood hotpot) came and took up half the table. My son's 12oz ribeye medium came out - a tad on the chewy side but flavored well. Side of fries or rice and he chose fries. Fries were skinny and crispy and served hot. We had to remind them twice about our bowl of rice. We ordered everything above at the same time.Once we were mid way through, we added more dishes and another bowl of rice.Steamed whelk in lemongrass & coconut water ( oc huong hap xa) - texture was better than the razor clam.Garlic fries - good texture and seasoned well Butter chicken wings - my son said it wasn't bad, could be a little crispier. The staff is friendly when you have their attention. Overall service could be better. They weren't super busy, had a few tables filled. We had to ask for beverage refills. They aren't as attentive to clean plates to help "make room" for new dishes arriving. I dropped my chopsticks and had to walk up the team to get another pair. We miss the Bay Area seafood houses and SoCals even more. This location is the closest to us these days to help satisfy seafood cravings but today was a miss. Hopefully they can do better next time! Cheers to more yummy filled eats in this new year! We are on the hunt! :)

I came by for seafood with a few friends. We had a few dishes to share like the crawfish, mango sales, blood clams, scallops, spring rolls, soft shell crab, friend quail. All the items were pretty good, the spring rolls were a bit underwhelming though which is sad. I think the seafood could have been a little bit less cooked, the scallops with quail egg were definitely over, where the scallop was slightly rubbery, and the blood clams kind of reminded me of chewing rubber. Flavors were good, textures were off. Also it took about an hour before we got the blood clams since they gave our clams to a different table. They apologized and gave us a few dollars off the clams. Considering it as an hour wait I was kind of surprised the restaurant didn't just comp it, but I guess it's ok.

The best hands down!! I love love love their seafood options. The sauce and everything it comes with is so good, this place is a must have when visiting. My absolute favorite are the razor clams with scallions. Service is friendly and attentive, inside is nice and spacious with a huge bar with a variety of selections including beer and cocktails. They have a great choice of music playing throughout the restaurant and even In the restrooms. You can also spin the wheel when it's your birthday, last time we got like 20-30% off our bill and a free beer!

Although pricey, the seafood here is delicious. Staff are nice and friendly. Of the times that I have been here, it's usually not busy. One of my favorites is the blood clams. Their drinks are always on point. SHQ is a great spot to eat and hang out with friends.

Have eaten here a couple of times, nice to now know it's here and not need to drive to San Jose. My favorites are the beef pickle eggplant salad and grilled scallop with quail eggs. My mom loves the monster chicken feet which is a crispy texture, not like the soft dim sum kind. Service is pretty good depending how busy they are. Large space inside with lots of seating, both tables and chairs and booths as well. Clean bathroom.
