Link via Yelp goes to direct website with different menu. Sactown Eats link has a different menu with prices too. Confusing since it doesn't match up. Wasn't clear if the platform from the direct website would work for this location since sactown eats has its own platform too. It's a ghost kitchen inside of Sactown Eats brick building. Other comments mention the environment. I had my meal in peace sitting alone outside of my car. Plenty of passers at 5pm on a week night. It's not pretty to the eye but the people in the streets didn't bother me while eating so... I don't see the big deal. Many neighborhood residents walked and biked over as well. Process itself is really freaking cool! Order online. Get a text when it's ready. Click the link when you're inside. Click "unlock" green bar. Boom cubby door opens! Super cool. Got the $10 lemongrass chicken with mien sauce deal via Sactown eats website. For $10 I have no complaints.Just like to see the ordering process fixed. They should match or the link on the restaurants website should lead to Sactown eats link.

Thai was the second time I've ordered food from SEA Hut Express because I wanted to give them a genuine second chance. The first time I ordered a Basil stir fry dish. It was decent but probably about a decent as grabbing Chinese from Panda Express vs a Dim Sum hole in the wall in the Bay Area. I was so excited to be able to eat food from my native Cambodia but sadly it didn't live up to my probably inflated expectations. This time I ordered the beef stew. It was okay. It looked like someone reached for a handful of mini carrots and threw them in a pot with some poor cuts of beef and added onion with instant-beef broth. This wasn't close to the beef stew I grew up on as a kid with the baguettes to dip on the side. I also ordered their chicken egg rolls and although this wasn't the veggie only kind, it was still kind of off-putting. I haven't been to their Elk Grove location but maybe the aesthetics would be more enticing but I'm very much opposed to restaurants who offer better ambience than food. I feel bad having to leave a review like this but I guess I'm going to have to drive to Angel Cruz Park to get some decent Cambodian food along with other southeast Asian fare. The Cambodian Restaurants down in Stockton are pretty terrible as well having visited several during our weekend celebrating the new year recently. Anyway. Not to get off track. I'd say improve the quality of food with the mindset that you're serving other Cambodians so that other cultures can really get the authenticity. Other than that, they prepared the meal well and I'm full but it's partly because I'm a third world baby and I can't stand to waste food.

SEA Hut Express is inside Sactown Eats and is a ghost kitchen for pick up and delivery only. I've ordered from their Elk Grove location many times and was so excited when this location opened in Sacramento. They offer online ordering as well as ordering through the kiosk inside Sactown Eats. You can pick up or choose delivery and they offer a good variety of dishes. My favorite is the Kapoon ($16.95) and I was so excited to see it on the Express menu. The flavor is great and the portion I received was enough for two servings.I also ordered the Cambodian Hala Chicken Curry ($15.95) that was a daily special and it was also really flavorful. They offered it with your choice of rice or vermicelli noodles. It definitely doesn't have the ambiance and customer experience that the Elk Grove restaurant does, but if you're craving delicious take out food this is a great spot.

Impressed with my crab fried rice it was so flavorful and dense with real crab meat in every bite. It was a lot of food, the go box was packed and heavy. Enough to feed two people for two days. They offer many more Lao & Cambodian dishes to choose from that look really tasty. I picked this food up from their ghost kitchen at Sactown Eats and I hope to patronize their Elk Grove establishment in the near future.

Be ware! Not a restaurant, only a food pick lobby! Was misunderstood to be like some kind of food hall or something but it was just a food lobby. No wonder why my Grubhub order was messed up the last time. But it's ok. I still ordered something to go since the food wasn't that bad the last time. Ambiance is a warehouse setting in a construction area by capital casino.

Have been missing taste of Angkor since it closed down, so happy to have found this spot so close. If you order through the sea hut website and do pick up it's a bit weird to figure out when you show up, but just go in the pick up area, push the help button, and they'll go get your order. It's a ghost kitchen and atmosphere is weird, but food is delicious. Got the box with Char Siu Chicken, loaded fries, sticky rice and fish sauce. Chicken was very flavorful and veggies were fresh, sticky rice was cooked well, and fish sauce was tasty.Next time when it's not so hot I'm looking forward to trying the Salaw Machu and the Angel wings. Usually have to go down to Stockton or Modesto to get those, so excited to have somewhere in sac.

REALLY!?? For $16 I get this.I'm so disappointing.Only 7 small pieces of chicken and mostly rice and veggies. I work in the food business as well and would be embarrassed to serve this to any customers. The box came sideways. Everything was on the side and the sauce fell out and spilled all over the floor. All I have to say is do better and show your hard working customers that you care.
