Scotty's Hideaway

i love dropping by here every once in awhile - great vibe, friendly people... they serve up fun here. I'm a big people watcher and this place doesn't disappoint.All the bartenders I know here are top notch. Scotty must have some sort of special talent recruiting or something. I usually drop by Wednesday nights (karaoke). Legend has it that there's trivia earlier in the night, but I never seem to get here early enough for that. Anyways, drop by on Wednesday night and check things out. If I'm there, I'll probably be over by the pinball machine - my favorite seat. if you find me and mention this review, I'll buy you a drink.

I grew up in Orangevale and saw this place as I was picking up Mexican food from Lupitas, another venue I've never been.As I pulled through the parking lot I noticed several people walking into Scottys. I couldn't believe a bar was open so I followed the crowd.OMG, an awesome dive bar! Full bar, electronic dart boards, pool table, outdoor smoking area. I was flushed with excitement and the bartender poured my a stiff tall Titos n soda with lime. I was in heaven! By my self, I watched the locals as they watched me. They were not friendly, but obviously inquisitive. I just smiled and enjoyed a great drink.I've been back once and same inquisitive local watch. Again, enjoyed every sip!

Scotty's Hideaway is a fabulous get away! Friendly service and great vibes, always :-)So many fun events... LIVE music, Pool tournaments, rib cook off's, paint and sip parties... The list goes on & on!

Scotty's Hideaway is OV's hidden secret! What a fun spot, everyone needs to come and check it out for a good time! Had the opportunity to visit Scotty's last Saturday! Not really having expectations, this isn't like your normal neighborhood dive bar - it's way better! They have a huge bar, with pool tables, KARAOKE, and they also have a fun outdoor area with corn hole! I can't believe how much fun I had last Saturday! The owner Scotty, is super chill and is so welcoming! Everyone should check out Scotty's hideaway, drinks are very reasonable and overall you're going to have fun at this local spot! *Towards the end of the night, I might've had one too many drinks - sorry Scotty! :) Thanks for a good time, tho!

Great little place to have fun, but kinda divey.. but fun and good people. They have an outdoor patio with heaters and a place to just escape for a few hours from the everyday routine . Drinks are very reasonable and service is pretty good. Parking can be a challenge sometimes. The place gets busy on the weekends.. If you just want to get out for awhile and meet some down to earth people this is the place to come.

I came here to grab a drink with a friend, having never heard of it walked in to find a more divey bar with the regulars lined up and having fun Shannon was our bartender- she provided above the bar customer service and was friendly and people oriented- her personality made the experience and will definitely get us to come back. The drink prices were great and affordable and they have a board that indicates what their drinks specials are for each day.Tucked in the corner of a strip mall- this may become a new place for me and my best friend to stop by in our typical places to catch a drink or night cap.

Went for the first time, and the bartender was absolutely awful. Me and my friend ordered some drinks gave a tip, and then later on in the night we were picking up our own dishes and taking them to the bartender, she would leave our drinks at the bar and not bring them to the table, so the next time we order drinks we did not tip because tipping is for excellent service and the service was not excellent and she came up to us and said oh do you work for free and showed us the receipt we then looked at the receipt and said the total was $28 didn't leave a tip so it's $28 she then goes OK I just wanna make sure y'all work for free so next time you come up and you don't get service just know why I've never encountered anybody who felt so entitled I asked her I said, do you make an hourly wage, you're not working for free whether I tip you or not it was just awful

Rude service if you are not happy working maybe you should not be a bartender. There was no reason for her blatant disregard for customers!

I get prioritizing regulars but the last four times I've been here I don't get service unless I get a girl to get me drink for me, the bartenders are slow and as a bartender watching them make drink is excruciating. if you are not a regular DONT COME HERE. They suck, in addition every time ai come here with friends the girls in our group get sexually harassed. This place fucking blows.

The bartenders service ruin the fun this place has. I've gone two separate times now, and both times have been the worse experience of a bartender I've ever had. There's so many other friendly spots around to go to, I wouldn't recommend this place.
