Been going to this place for almost 10 years and this place has always been awesome, has never disappointed me! Hands down the best burger in Sacramento! Super Fat Boy combo is definitely the go to. The Triple Fat Boys is for the real hungry and brave. Hours are for lunchtime so absolutely get it when you can and Make sure you bring cash too!

If you blink while driving down Franklin you might miss it, as the shack is not very big. Yet nevertheless Scott can make a good burger. The Fatboy has a large, 1/2 lb patty, with bacon, cheese, a hefty bun, and otherwise standard burger toppings. The meat was seasoned well and everything seemed to go together. I got a side of onion rings and chicken nuggets for my son. Neither of which were noteworthy but neither were bad. There's no ambiance but there large picnic tables are in the shade at least.I took a star away because I tried to call several times to order but they did not answer the phone. I saw other reviews have mentioned this as well. Also, be careful when pulling into the parking lot. While eating I saw someone take the turn too sharply and blow out a tire on a metal grate on the curb. Apparently this happens a few times per week so be careful!

THIS PLACE IS FOR SURE TOP 3 IN SACRAMENTO WHEN IT COMES TO BURGERS, I treated my boi here for luck cuz he's never been and always wanted to go, and since I'm yelp elite I noticed I've never wrote a review for them so here it is:SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!The burgers are so juicy, the juices be dripping, I got the triple fatty combo man it's so worth it, this burger is better then any burger at any fast food establishment in Sacramento, they have so many options, good prices and good custom options, you can get a western and add pastrami, you can get a fatty and add mushrooms, any choice you make will be worth it, this place needs Sacramento's beat food award for sure, wish they had a food truck that could come to the north where I live, but I've been coming here for 10 years and no matter where I live I'll always travel for good food. Scott's has been at this location for a very long time. Easy to miss while driving by, but please make sure to stop by here for a great burger. One of the best burgers I've had, great fries also. Hours are limited mostly for lunch crowds. Unfortunately the downside is there is personally no outdoor seating. If you want a down-to-earth burger stop by.

Who knew this little shack had one of the best burgers you can get in the Sacramento Valley! Seems like a Ma and Pa joint. It is certainly not in the best neighborhood and it is strictly a walk up window, only open during safe hours 11am-5pm weekdays but worth the trip and wait for the truly great burger. The quality of the burger patty is perfect. Basic burgers are 1/2 pounders, come with perfectly cooked bacon and cheese. The onion rings are delicious and generous. The prices are super! We always take our food to go - I recommend calling in your order too.

Best burger for your money in Sacramento. I get the super fat boy and spend no more then 16.00 for what they give you no 1 can beat

Foods ok pretty much only go here to satisfy an old childhood craving. (How can anyone mess up a burger and fries?) The one star is solely because they are never open. I mean closed sat and sunday??? Closes early on a friday? (2pm)??? I mean i understand customers can get annoying but hire some one or something smh. Goodluck finding these guys open they are only open for 20 hours a week

I was here maybe 9 years ago. I recall stopping in again not very long after that time and they were closed in the middle of the day. All this time I've been under the impression that they had closed down permanently. After reading reviews it must have just been their different hours.So recently online I find they're still here. I dropped in today and got a pastrami burger. Wow this is a damn good burger without a doubt and only $6.25 total! Yeah I'll be back here again. If you're going to try them out bring cash and have time and patients.

Some day I'll make it back when it's open. Regardless, enjoying watching this gentleman give the sign a nice refresh.

Get a fat boy combo or super fat boy combo and have them put mayo and mustard and extra cheese and your set always the same perfectly cooked if not it just has ketchup and mustard on it and they have a good chicken club sandwich if someone you take likes chicken it's grilled chicken cooked perfectly seasoned well enough said ready to go back already try and call ahead if not to busy they answer and remember cash only
