Don't have a picture because I usually take my stuff to go, but this place has the BEST matcha (iced or hot) in Sacramento!!!! It's always hand whisked and never comes in a concentrate, which I've seen at other cafes in Sac. Their hojicha is also amazing. The muesli is consistently great so the fresh, fruits that are in season! Whatever granola they use is superb!!! (note: it does contain walnuts) The chocolate chip walnut cookies are also great! Dark chocolate, topped with flaky sea salt... chef kiss!!!The staff is also friendly! Depending on the time or day, they'll either call out your order or being it to you directly. Overall, a great coffee shop that offers delicious drinks and food items that are delicious and consistent in taste and quality.

Visiting from SoCal and missed all the cafes there so i wanted to find a comparable place in sac and this place did not disappoint! I got the matcha latte with oat milk and it's one of the best I've ever had. My partner got the orange mocha which was amazing. Would definitely go back whenever im back in Sac and this will be my new go to!

There's nowhere else I'd rather spend $9 on an oat matcha latte! But real talk, Scorpio's matcha is premium ceremonial grade and my FAV in Sacramento! The Japandi decor. The cute mug. It's everythinnnnnng.If caffeine's not your thing, get the hojicha latte! So earthy. (Did you know: elder Japanese people drink hojicha at night because it's so low in caffeine? I think like 2-5mg of caffeine)And if you're gonna eat there (you should eat there), get the Ochazuke dish. It's salmon with a dashi (?) broth, rice, and crispies--it's a warm hug on a cold, winter day. Honestly I've seen Salmon Ochazuke on the menu in SF for ~$30+ but here it's only $16 as of February 2025. A STEAL. And for such quality....don't sleep on it. And definitely don't sleep on that mushroom toast. OHHHH, MAMI. That umami. I always take out-of-towners here, especially my Bay Area friends and they love it here. Just get there before 10am before the crowd gets there. The line gets long, and seating becomes a premium! If you're lucky, you'll get that cute corner spot. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it ;)

Tried several coffees and teas, all where amazing! Matcha is ceremony grade and allows for different milk preferences. Chocolate chip cookie with walnuts was amazing, even better warmed up. Patio was perfect to sit back and relax. Location is also dog friendly.

Matcha latte was great! The cafe is aesthetically pleasing and on the smaller side. I came on a rainy day so I think the heater was on because it was stuffy in there. Cute cafe though!

I read some of the reviews before coming and had to get the mushroom toast and it did not disappoint. It was best when it first came out nice and hot. Loads of flavor and delicious. Cute little coffee shop in mid-town with street parking only. This place was busy and on a Saturday afternoon, the line was out the door. They do have outdoor seating available and the best thing, they are dog friendly!

I came here on a Monday afternoon around 1pm and was surprised how busy this place is. There was a small line but the line moved fast. When I got up to the counter, I asked what type of beans they had and I believe the manager heard my question and answered it thoroughly. All I can say is the customer service is on point. Today I ordered an Iced Latte and all I can say is wow, the drink is well balanced from coffee to milk ratio and I can actually taste the espresso and not just the milk. Would highly recommend when walking around midtown!

Our most recent visit we ordered food and I got the strawberry miso toast and bf got the cold soba noodles which came with mackerel. The toast was absolutely delicious and I loved the fluffy ricotta on the toast. It was on the sweeter side which I didn't mind. Bf also enjoyed his soba as well and loved his hojicha latte. Their menu changes from time to time and will also have seasonal drinks. It is a small coffee shop inside and they tend to be quite busy. However they do have some seating outside.

This place has top quality matcha for those matcha lovers out there! We've tried many matcha places, sometimes it's overly sweetened that the matcha taste is drowned out, or too much milk, the matcha flavor is just not it, or whatever the case may be, but this spot makes it with a perfect blend of matcha, milk and lightly sweetened to perfection. They also have a walnut chocolate chip cookie that is soooooo good, I can't help but grab one whenever we stop by for a matcha latte.

They make the best Red Velvet Latte in town! It's also a charming spot to get some work done.
