My daughter loves singing and has been bugging us to let her come to School of Rock. We finally came last night for a trial lesson and I'm really excited that we did. The inside has such a cool relaxed music studio vibe, I think I spent most of the time walking around and checking everything out from the different rooms to all of the awesome artwork on the walls. I even love their giant wall where all the kids sign and doodle on it!When we arrived, one of the owners welcomed us and gave us a tour. I love that they have glass doors so you can see other students practicing everything from drums, to bass, to singing! As much as you'd think all of the noise could be a bit much, I actually found it relaxing and liked hearing all the different instruments. My daughter's singing coach (Cale) was very patient and kind and she left even more excited to join than when we arrived. When we left, the receptionist gave us a flyer with the pricing and class options for my daughter's age - I thought it was a bit steep at first, but it includes 8 classes a month - 2 a week - 1 one on one session for 30 minutes and 1 group lesson for an hour and a half. Everyone there was so nice and you can tell the coaches/teachers love their job and what they can offer to these kids! The coaches offer everything from bass, guitar, drum, singing, and even keyboard/piano. They also offer summer camps, workshops and they even have the kids put on concerts! We will definitely be joining soon and I can't wait to see where School of Rock takes my daughter's confidence! Check them out!

My disabled partner was looking for something fun to do in-between speech therapies and physical therapies. He needed something to take his mind off of things. Something that may also be therapeutic. So, we decided to schedule a singing lesson at the school of rock. His speech therapist agreed, it was a great idea. Hi appointment was scheduled for May 27 at 10:30am. They asked us to arrive at 10:15am. We planned the days schedule around the appointment. We showed up at 10:15am, as instructed. When we arrived they told my partner the vocal instructor had called in sick. They had been open since 9am yet they didn't bother to call or email to cancel. They offered to reschedule for the following Saturday. We agreed.Again they said to arrive at 10:15am for a 10:30 appointment on June 3rd. Again we planed our schedule around the appointment. However, around noon on the 2nd we received an email saying the appointment had been moved to 11:30am on the 3rd due to a staffing issue. We thought "Okay, well at least they contacted us in advance this time."We rearranged our schedule for the day. We arrived at 11:15am for an 11:30am appointment, as requested. Again they said someone didn't show up, they didn't have enough staff to cover the appointment.I asked the person at the front desk why they hadn't contacted us in advance for either cancellation. Their first response was to pass the buck and say "I don't know I'm only here on Saturdays." Perhaps this person isn't payed enough to take responsibility for anything. Perhaps they aren't payed enough to put in any amount of effort and make the situation right. I don't know. I can only speculate. After some disingenuous apologies, an ear full of excuses, and no offer to make the situation right, we left unsatisfied. The bottom line:This company hasn't any semblance of courtesy, consideration, reliability or professionalism. They wouldn't know customer service if it bit them in their bass.

You get what you pay for. My Daughter who was 9 when she first started coming to School of Rock. She was at times timid, didn't believe in her abilities, and had a lot of stage fright! She has grown a ton, after her second session they bumped her up to performance group she shined! Her stage presence shows growth and excitement! She has had multiple teachers and each of them have shown patience and helped her grow to where my daughter is now learning to perform piano! My biggest complaint is they sometimes don't have enough teachers available for make up classes. Also the parking isn't great!Overall the value of the School of Rock out ways the sticker shock of the price. If your kiddos wants to learn to Rock out, build confidence, learn to work in a group. I highly recommend this location.

I signed my son up for the Carmichael School of Rock summer camp, fully expecting he'd have a great time. I've heard the camp is a lot of fun! However, as things unfolded, it became clear that my son would not be able to do the camp. I called and spoke with Jared, the manager at School of Rock. Jared was understanding and supportive. He was able to refund my money, while also making me feel very welcome to bring my son in for another camp or lessons, in the future. Thanks for being so professional and kind School of Rock!!!! You couldn't have been kinder!!!

My son has been having lessons here for 2 years. He has a lesson every Wednesday. Today, Monday, I called to change my son's lesson schedule. What they say is that I have to change it 72 hours in advance. It was really absurd. They say it always different. They say about the policy, and sometimes they change it, but not today? That's so ridiculous. I fully understand that this academy has 3 stars. I canceled this academy right away.

When I first began at School of Rock, I would say I liked music. But after being enrolled for almost a year, I can confidently say that I now LOVE music! Every instructor I've worked with has been patient and kind, the atmosphere has always been welcoming and most importantly, they make learning fun! highly recommend checking it out if you've ever had an interest in music.

Such a great experience at our first trial! The women at the front were so lovely and supportive to my kiddo. Definitely can't wait for the groups they had practicing when we visited to play at their next performance. It was clean and there wasn't a single person without a smile on their face. Cool place. Would recommend to anyone! I may even take lessons here myself soon ;)

Super nice people. The teachers are always enthusiastic and patient. The lesson themselves are very helpful. My teachers teach me in multiple ways and are exceptional when I ask questions. I've been taking drums and vocals lessons for two months now and have made amazing progress !
