Satori Sushi & Teriyaki Grill - Elk Grove

11/20/24-one of our favorites to pick up when we're in town...Happy to have placed an online order and get a 10% discount-Ready when stated 25 min.Ordered three combo's sesame chicken and mixed tempura- and one teriyaki and mixed tempura-Two rolls- Elk Grove and Satori special roll..As always plenty of leftovers..

I ordered the pick two combination, teriyaki chicken and pork katsu, the crunch roll and tiger roll through door dash. I was expecting the pork katsu sauce to be on the side so the batter doesn't get soggy when it gets to my house. There's lack of salad dressing and I almost puke when I ate the Tiger Roll. The shrimp tasted expired or very old; should've been tossed out and not served to anyone. I asked my daughter to taste it too just to make sure I'm not being dramatic and she actually spit out the sushi roll. Something is off with the two rolls because of the shrimp. No offense, this was by far the worst sushi roll I had in my life. The two pick combo was fine - chicken teriyaki was great and pork katsu was decent.

Food was delicious and service was great. Inside is a little small but we enjoyed what we ordered. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Wow! I'm very surprised by this teriyaki place in Elk Grove. Its located in the plaza of the Walmart and Tesla superchargers. They have such a clean interior with a decent amount of seating. I ordered a bento box to go with teriyaki chicken and mixed tempura. They LOADED up with tempura that contained brocolli, sweet potato, onion, shrimp, and green beans. Loved it, they had a great crunch and variety! One step up would be to have a dedicated tempura sauce and I think this bento box is complete.When they mention spicy teriyaki chicken, its when they add the sriacha on top. Other than that, the whole box was super filling for a decent price of $15 (lunch). Service was so friendly and welcoming!! I'll be coming back for another lunch sometime soon! :)

I ordered on Ubereats for a pick up but got there 4 minutes after they closed. They were still SO nice. Food was neatly packed and the take out boxes were loaded! We were so hungry we forgot to take a picture of the food before we started eating so the pictures are after we had ate some. Uber had 2 BOGO's for the restaurant, a Crunch roll and gyoza. Great deal! Rolls are expensive and you get one free, score in my book. Gyoza is a staple we always get so having more of those was also awesome! We also ordered the pick 2 combo with chicken katsu, pork katsu, chicken teriyaki and sesame chicken and they were all SMACKIN'! Everything was delish like for reals! My husband and I were SO full and happy!

The kids wanted California roll and we're so glad to find this place. They devoured their California rolls. I usually eat sushi but I was graving a rice plate. I got a bento box with chicken teriyaki and mixed tempura. The teriyaki was super sweet but it's so good with rice. The tempura was a little salty but I kinda liked it. The servers were nice and efficient. I would definitely come back.

I always order from this place thru DoorDash whenever I'm unable to go out. But today I was disappointed cause they sent me old discolored tuna nigiri! These things cost over $6 per 2 pieces and I threw away 5 cause I couldn't eat no more cause they tasted funny! Even my kids didn't want em but they always devour em. Not ordering from this place again! Geez!

Located in the same shopping center at Walmart on Elk Grove Blvd and is in the strip of stores facing Elk Grove Blvd. Plenty of parking. Cozy restaurant. Great service! Friend and attentive staff! Menu has a large selection. Good variety! Food is very tasty and delicious. Will have to return for more soon!
