We decided we wanted Indian food for dinner, so we thought we'd give this place a try based upon the Yelp reviews. Well, the reviews were accurate. The food is very good. We had Samosas, Lamb korma, aloo gobi, rice, and garlic naan. It was all good. Our server was quite attentive. He checked on us several times to ensure we were happy with our food and had what we needed. Although the dining room was empty, except for us, it is clean and decorated with authentic Indian art. I am pretty sure we'll be back!

Food is always great here. Get the pakora - crunchy deep fried veggie appetizer fullll of flavor. The Amritsar kulcha is amazing too! For mains, I recommend the chicken korma, vindaloo, or butter chicken. The to-go portions can be on the smaller side but enough for 2 adults to share. If you're dining in- try the tandoori, it comes out on a sizzling hot plate! Glad to have some diversity in the neighborhood! The staff seem a bit rushed when taking your order and possibly because of a language barrier, they are not the best at recommending items but service is good. The food comes out quick and fresh. The place is big and open, definitely a casual family dining option.

Best Indian food in Sac, I'm calling it! My husband and I love Indian cuisine and we've lost count of all the places we've tried in the Sacramento area. This is hands down the best we've had, and I just recently found out the reason - it is run by chefs. No shade intended to cooks, but the experience has distinction. In fact, everything I've tried from this place has been the best (insert dish) I've had... no joke. The butter chicken is tender and so flavorful it's an experience in itself. Same with the shahi paneer. The samosas are fresh and delicious. Try the wraps, the chicken one is my favorite and they're super reasonably priced too, a great lunch option. They also have a 2 entree combo plate that's very affordable and probably enough food for 2 meals if you're like me. The kheer (rice-based dessert) is excellent, and they have a whole case of baked goods to try! And besides the food, the service is always great, friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend giving them a try, I'm convinced you will only want more of their food. So crazy good.

Pani puri and vegetarian samosas were excellent with great flavor and sauces. Paneer Tika massala was also quite good. I had the lamb biryani and the flavor and portion was very good but the lamb was very low quality with farMore bones than meat and some small surprise bones that almost cracked my teeth. Very little meat was to be found - perhaps 2 ounces with 4 ounces of bone.Overall a solid 4 stars for the food but they really need a lunch buffet to get the business going.
