San Juan Club

This is a must see! The quintessential dive bar. Fun. One night there's a kat playing the blues another night, karaoke. The people are friendly and supportive. Supportive? You can't fail when it comes to singing. They just won't have it. But there are plenty of outside seats if you like. Definitely a great neighborhood hangout on a nice cool evening. Not only do they have a nifty little stage to perform on, there's a sturdy pool table to shoot some stick and dart boards. While we didn't do it, we saw a few folks bring food in so I suspect they don't mind.The beers on tap are right in my wheel house which is great, how I prefer it. Quite an assortment of liquors and the bartender (always great to get a name before you get liquored up, maybe it's Dan?) makes a killer Mai Tai. You can have all your drinks in glass not a plastic cup. This is a knock on a neighboring pub, it's also nod to the San Juan Club. I love this bar! 12/24

Great local pub . It has my favorite IPA beer for sure. Even people from New York like it hahaha they accept passwords you f****** fools ahahah

Excellent little dive bar that never disappoints.. live music on Thursday and Friday nights. Steve the bar tender is on task and very friendly. They have a pool table and the people are friendly and they have outdoor seating and just a great place to hang. The service is always friendly and the place is very cozy... my go too when I want to hang out.

Had a super fun time playing bingo at the San Juan club. First time playing bingo and Jeanine, the host, was patient, helpful and friendly. The libations were delicious, the bartender(s) are welcoming and efficient; with a mellow ambiance and great TouchTune options...what more could you ask for the a neighborhood bar. Will be back.

Good place to get a drink..make it strong make it quick, because these bartenders are not messing around you want a drink you get a drink and there is always plenty of parking which is huge going anywhere these days..enjoy a drink

Steve the bartender is really nice. Drinks are reasonably priced. Restrooms are spacious and clean and have luxurious amenities in the ladies room. Hand sanitizer is always available. Karaoke several nights a week. Pool tables, a back patio, firepits on tables in back, lottery available and good parking.

Leaving a good review because I saw a group of twats review bombed. It's a good bar. Nice bartenders. Reminds me of the military bars I used to frequent while active duty, lots of nostalgia.

I went with my friend, who came in with a legitimate passport, but was not allowed in. He used an internationally acknowledged document and they didn't allow for him to enter. I assume that he had some sort of prejudice against that man (despite having never having been there before). I would not recommend this bar to anyone, because of their harsh discrimination of customers. I understand that businesses retain the right to refuse service, but having no negative interaction with a customer and refusing entrance despite documentation feels a bit much. This seems like a place that could be bad for any newcomers, but good for regulars (and I mean, fair enough) but if you haven't been to the San Juan Club, I would strongly caution you against entering.

This place fu**ing sucks. They wouldn't allow my friend with a passport who is 24 in the bar. Seems like they don't wanna do business and would rather go out of business than stay in it. Especially when they have less than 10 people in that place. Bunch of old men and not even worth the time or drive to get there. Ruined our night.

cops took my ID, had my passport, and the numb of a bartender said no, this place sucks, no crowd, lame.
